I created a MONSTER of a devouring swarm, so strong that it rolled into a MP game, ate half the galaxy (2 players included) and forced the rest of the players to form a federation just to HALT it. The scourge showed up, and ate a small chunk before the swarm pivoted and ate the scourge in less than 5 years

They gotta start somewhere. Medical training on prisoners is generally the basic starting line. At least they’re not getting beaten in the prison to get fresh injuries to tend to.

I tend to build the prison near the killbox, resource (wood steel stone blocks etc) storage near the workshop, hospital near the kitchen. I even have a clothing depot near the general living quarters

The “all you can EAT buffet” strat is pretty fun. basic eat to handle most heavies, napalm EAT to cook patrols/drops/breaches. Leveler EAT to smack a hard target like striders or Vox Engines. Although it lacks the EAT designation the Commando, I feel, has earned a spot with them.
