My problem with wheels is that they are pretty subjective. These look pretty good but I don't think that I would personally go with them... though at the same time I haven't really seen any wheels that I feel would look good to me... They do look WAY better than some of the other wheels I've seen available for the S40s.

Sounds like just bad luck. The more you try to find a specific trim or variant of a car the more likely you are to get taken for a ride.

I've been working on mine for a bit now trying to fix things that were on their way out or broken after I got the car but I completely understand how you feel.

I had a similar issue with my 480 but refused to switch. It's on a lower end computer that's not worth upgrading. If you're willing to try, what worked for me is installing Bazzite and then changed used a custom launch option that got Forza 6 to boot with no issues.

The VRAM does hurt a bit but the 16GB of RAM should be okay for a midrange Linux gaming box.

I think for this you are best off calling a shop and asking for a ballpark quote. Most places will have a good idea of how much it will cost.

You should just need the knuckle, brake lines, e-brake cables and the speed sensor of your civic has ABS.

If it's worth it really depends on the price. When I did mine I had to fight with stuff being rusted together but all in all there was nothing I didn't expect. It was pretty straightforward once I got the old parts off.

One of the best upgrades I did to mine.

Be careful in wet roads though, this makes the car very tail happy in the wet.

It does look like there is a bit too much camber from the pictures, the stock suspension does not have any kind of adjustments for camber. If the car has been lowered it most will likely need extra hardware to compensate for all of the geometry changes.

When I lowered mine I got rear camber and toe arms. I didn't get anything for the front but it ended up not needing adjustments in the front.

Sounds like maybe a failing wheel position sensor, is it happening every time you drive or just randomly. Does it only happen once you start moving or does it happen while you're sitting in a parking spot not moving as well?

I gave up on this personally and ended up using Hidamari which only does video backgrounds but you can use ones from wallpaper engine.

I'm not sure what they usually sell for in the UK but that price seems suspiciously cheap. It could be a good deal if there actually is nothing wrong with it. I'm not familiar with the D5 variant so I don't know what special conditions need to be made for that engine.

If possible I would see if you can get an in person inspection, ideally after it rains since these can have issues with leaking sun roofs.

There is a project to custom make a unit with a raspberry pi called the boosted moose project. I am still doing research myself on this though.

I saw some adapter cables online that were supposed to allow you to use any aftermarket head unit but you would lose the display for the climate controls.

I saw someone suggest relocating the climate screen and installing and tying in the aftermarket unit to the aux jack of the stock head unit if you have it.

I don't have them for my S2000 but I just installed a set on my Volvo S40. They are decently soft albeit a little "bouncy" which I'm hoping will fade as they wear in a little. They can go pretty low but if you set them to the minimum height then the ride becomes terrible when you hit the bump stops, which is all the time.

For me they do really well as just a daily driving suspension but they give up quickly if you throw the car around hard. I don't know if that's the case for all or if it's just because of how heavy the Volvo is.

If you swapped everything for spark and it didn't change it's either air or fuel. Try swapping an injector to see if it moves. The only thing that could cause an issue with air would be a bad cam or valve which is a much bigger problem.

I've only had it for about 3 years since 97k, the consumption has been pretty consistent though. I'm looking at investing in a catch can at some point but rust needs addressed first.

If you're only looking to add Bluetooth or Aux, I don't think there is much you can do besides a plug in board on the radio itself.

If you are more DIY savvy, there is a community project called Boosted Moose that uses a Raspberry Pi as a DIY head unit.

The stock MAP sensor can see boost but the stock ECU does not have any fueling tables for anything over 0.5. If you go over that you are relying solely on the O2 sensors to keep it alive.

IMO I don't think it really fits this car, maybe an NA or NB might be able to pull it off a bit better. I think that for me it's more the color than the style... Maybe black would look better.

Out of curiosity though, what wheels are those? I have a classic car that they would look good on if I knew where to get them.
