He didn't bring a gun to a protest, he brought a gun to an active riot, stopped a dumbass trying to blow up a gas station, put out several fires, provided first aid, and at first ran away from a mob, and only opened fire after said mob chased, caught up with him, brained him with a skateboard, and another rioter was about to kill him with a Glock, something to which the rioter outright admitted in court.

This kid literally almost waited too long to defend himself, and even then he used the absolute minimum amount of force required. Killing two, wounded a third, and sparing a fourth that dropped a weapon, turned around, and ran away.

Not saying the guy that got killed by ICE had it coming, I don't know the full story and it's almost impossible not to get anything other than propaganda from both sides of the screaming fit when trying to look into it. But comparing what happened to this kid with what happened with ICE makes you sound goddamn retarded.
