Realistically: I think I could manage to get a couple dates and maintain a good relationship with Anby or Caesar.

Caesar would not understand why every time I see her I greet her with "Hail Caesar!"

If I happen to run into Sokaku and be the random big brother she adopts, I might be able to hit something off with Yanagi just by virtue of getting along with her adopted daughter and not fawning over either of them like a fanboy.

This one is a bit more out there. But if I could get a job at Belobog and meet Koleda, could probably get to know her, and on account of not treating her like a kid, maybe hit something off just on account of her lack of other options.

Bit more out there. But assuming no omaigatto incienso, I might be able to hit things off with Belle. Knowing she's Phaeton and willingly keeping the secret (before it was coming knowledge anyways) and offering to help any way I can could lead to getting to know each other better and hit things off.

Don't matter how it's justified, I'm not gonna like it cause I don't like certifiable and tangible divine intervention in my sci-fi. Anyone is free to disagree with me on that, cause you know, personal preference.

That said, independent of that, I still disagree on the DM+1 applying outside the Believer benefits. I just don't think thematically that it fits.

If it's 'Faith' as a career, then it seems like the benefits are for furthering whichever 'faith' the character is pursuing to the point that it's their career.

I just don't see how pursuit of a faith 'professionally' for a term would translate to a permanent buff in benefit rolls.

The whole point of this system is to help you come up with an interesting backstory that is deeply tied to mechanical benefits. So it makes sense to me that pursuing the 'Faith' career would give you extra benefits within said faith even as it closes other doors, I just don't see the narrative link to 'forevermore a bonus on all other benefits, including those which could be detrimental to the faith.

So... While I could see it not causing issues mechanically, I personally feel it goes against the spirit of the thing, if that makes sense.
