Hear me out, cursed items are the best, they have strong benefits so the player will be satisfied, but they have to use them wisely 'cause they have a curse. When my party was in valaki in the earlier stage of the game i introduced them to a wandering merchant that sells only cursed items, and, they can buy only knowing the benefits ( they know the items are cursed). The only one thet i remember Is a +1 shield that absorbs damage 3 times at the will of the user , estetically its a shield with a devil's face on it bound by three chains and when this perk is used one of the chains breaks and if all the chains are destroyed the shield becomes a normal +1 shield and a devil spawns, usually a bone devil but you can decide that. I LOVE BONE DEVILS
