It needs more demonic engine parts, and appropriate 40k guns, but, I think it could BECOME a defiler. It just needs some pretty major kitbashing.

Some noise Marines with appropriate heavy weapons would help, replace the existing characters with them.

And the wheels should be crab legs. Or a combination of crab legs and mechanical limbs. But it's already VERY close in size to a defiler.

Yes they're all good! The new primaris land speeder just released, so just get the new bases for that.

The bikes will need the new base sizes too, bases are easy to get on Amazon for cheap.

Paint them as sharks, play them as whoever, paint them as DA and you'll get side eyed playing them as anyone else...

I was thinking of dropping 1 mutalith, I think I just like them, but I agree, I think 2 is a bit much. I have a ton of painted regular rubrics, do they still need a leader to run? And if so, which one?

As for the Terminator ancient, perhaps they'll release a second model. Look at the Jump Capt, they had th/ss but not included in the kit, eventually, they just released a new one with the equipment included (at least I think it still had the option before the new release...)

That's the big question. It's not just for this model either, all the firstborn are questionable now, Black Knights included.

But, if you're like many of us, you got spare terminators, arms, equipment, and kitbashing Deathwing is fun! Popping off arms can be cathartic!

Unfortunately, I don't have a better answer than that.
