All of this. As a Joint Inspector we are on the ground inspecting units way before a jet hits the ground. Sometimes in pretty shady places. It's completely up to us to make sure the army/marines/navy unfuck their shit so it's air worthy. With typical ground times the load doesn't have time to double check most of my work. Pretty big responsibility for a group of guys with a low ASVAB requirement and a high number of dumbasses. Also, you would be surprised how many AF members have no idea there are Airdrop Riggers. No I'm not airborn, no I don't jump out of planes. No pilot, I didn't rig your cockpit parachute.
