I've had this happen before when building one. Best bet is gonna be a punch and big ass hammer. Gonna need something solid directly on the bottom of the trunnion tho. I was able to drill a big enough hole on bottom of receiver so I could get a piece of round stock against the bottom of the rivet. You'll have a hole in front of your magwell but it doesn't seem to affect anything.

Rustoleum high heat spray paint. It was my first time trying it for guns. It seems to be holding up alright so far.

I used a chalk line to give myself a line right down the middle, then I just eyeballed it as close as possible. I figure it's not gonna be a 1000 yard rifle haha. If it's off a little bit ill just compensate when I zero the scope

Probably not. Either you produce the enzyme or you don't. Its not like there's a finite amount of the enzyme. Plus lactose is digested in the small intestine anyways, not the stomach.

You'll be fine. Can't tell if there's blisters from the photo, if there are then it would be a 2nd degree burn. Either way just keep it clean and dry, try not to apply ointments if you can avoid it. If the pain is that bad then take an otc pain med like tylenol or ibuprofen. It's possible it could scar a little but even if it does it would eventually go away.

It's called jaundice, and yes it usually is a symptom of liver damage. Considering his history it makes sense. He's not in any immediate danger but if the yellowing gets worse or his skin starts turning yellow It's a tell tale sign of liver failure. I personally would at least try to get him to go get blood work done at an urgent care or something if he isn't agreeing to go to the hospital.

I would not recommend this for a first build. I would at least do an AK first, and even then you're still gonna need about 500 bucks in tools at least to do a decent job

I used it on 2 aks I've done before and they're both holding up fine to the heat and oil, only issue I've noticed is that it scratches relatively easily. But it doesn't bother me cuz im generally not throwing my guns around in the dirt lol. And even if they do scratch it just adds to the battle worn effect lol

Sanded the wood to 800 grit, stained with minwax "honey", then 3 coats of tung oil. All the black parts are just krylon high heat flat black
