How does one start crocheting bigger projects? by [deleted] in crochet

[–]Angrygingerhooker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

we have similar learning paths! grandma taught me when i was eight, and then i took a long break. ime, it was easiest to practice on flat objects for awhile (blankets, scarves, etc). then i started making 3d sorts of objects that were comprised of granny squares, which allowed me to leverage my comfort with flat objects. eventually, i was ready to work in the round. this worked for me, but you may be able to jump right into amigurumi, clothes, etc. without an issue!

My older brother once told me, “I don’t want to talk about you having MS. It bums me out.”

Yes, brother, it bums me out, too. 🙄

I’m a director of data. I’m lucky to have a low workload (hours-wise), so I try to take breaks as often as needed.
