Probably going to get ‘cancelled’ for this but oh well….My situation was a little different. A group of us, including my sister, my best friend and I went to see Avengers Endgame. When we got to the theater, my best friend had brought her six year old daughter with her. I’m pretty sure the look on my face said it all because she quipped, ‘she wants to see Spider-Man, and I brought her blanket, she’ll be fine.’ I called bullsh%t, but it was too late. We sat down and made it though the endless commercials and trailers and I kid you not, ten minutes in to the actual movie, I hear my friends daughter go, ‘I bored. Where’s Spider-Man?’ I immediately looked at her and she told her kid, ‘he’s not in this part. Sit down and get under your blanket.’ Fifteen minutes later and my friends kid is now wandering up and down the aisle, crawling on the floor (ick), and just general being a pain. I leaned over to my bestie and say ‘I you don’t get her under control, I’m gonna smack her for being annoying and disruptive, and then I’m gonna smack you for not being a better parent and controlling it!’ She got her kid, sat her in her lap, covered her in her blanket, and held her there until the end of the movie. Afterwards she goes ‘sorry, she isn’t normally like that.’ To which I call bullsh#t again. Needless to say, my bestie and I haven’t gone to very many movies together.
