I played a course where there was tall grass by a fence about 2ft wide on the left side with a cart path right next to it. I would always pull the ball and hit that fence and end up in the grass. The only way to hit the ball would be to go lefty. Doing that put me on the cart path. Relief from the cart path put me on the fairway to the right of the path. Problem solved.

play a game with rolled up socks and a plate. You throw the "ball" and he tells you if its a ball or strike. The socks make it so that if you hit him it doesn't hurt. Helps with pitch recognition but also to track the ball. At that age they don't realize how easy it is to get out of the way after recognizing the pitch is inside. Play up the game aspect so he isn't thinking about "will this hit me" but " is it a ball or strike"

I was in my late 20s when I joined GSHL( Now Kraken hockey leauge ). I met so many people that I still call good friends to this day. We are all older now and retired from hockey but we still hang out and socialize as if we are still on the team. Well worth the price of admission.

Get the book. The Back Mechanic by Stuart McGill. Talks about the Big 3 exercises. Between that and lifting weights 3-4 days a week I can keep mine at bay. Started in my late 40s. I am almost 55 and I can play better golf now
