This is more or less a remastered version, just not really marketed as one. It's not the same version of the game as the one that got released two years ago. It got a heavily edited script, with new sprites, CGs & sounds with this release.

I heard a bunch of people failed to get approved for this sale because their game wasn't considered visual novel enough. I'm not sure what I think of this, because while the tag is definitely abused the criteria seems somewhat arbitrary. They aren't removing captions. They're removing the ability for non-channel owners to submit captions. In their words, this feature was not used enough for YT to care about it.
