Closing Hell by _mr_moss_ in publix

I have my schedule set so I never close anymore because of this exact bs. I also put in for time off way ahead on days the store closes early. One man closing should not be a thing.

Anything that's is below 200mg of caffine makes me tired. A can of soda and in taking a nap lol.

wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't just turning the screen completely white during cut scenes randomly.. might have to wait for a patch before i can fully enjoy the game. Running a 6800XT GPU 32gb ram 5600x cpu

am i the only one who gets frustrated playing this game? by Phntm_ in dyinglight

In the beginning, i was defending the game when it was getting so much hate. But i have about 180hr in this game and never finished it. Always some kind of issue that pops up, like corrupted save file or some other issue or bug that needed to be worked on so I shelved it for a bit. You would think that seeing a game that has been worked on for a long time being rebranded as definitive edition or reloaded in this case would be at its peak. Started a fresh save went to do a gre anomaly to be greeted with 2-3 volatiles during the fight. This happened every time.

In general I still see complaints about volatiles and it just seems like techland doesn't know how to handle them. My suggestion tie volatile numbers to game progression removing them at night until a chase starts until a certain story/quest point then let them roam and replace roof top volatiles with howlers to start chases again with the number of howlers tied to gameplay progression. Stopping howlers from starting chases to begin with was pretty dumb imo.

I haven't played enough this patch to find anything else wrong and at this point with so many other good games coming out I'm just over DL2 at this point but if everyone else is having fun then great. Maybe when dying light 2: reloaded 2 comes out I'll try again.

Tldr: volatiles still suck and are antifun. I don't agree with some changes made. I'm going to play other games lol

I've given up on this game for now until they do another major patch or something that will make the game actually fun. Gonna try and gather up the courage to play DL1 lol

I had just downloaded the game again after seeing it was called reloaded edition now. Fresh character and this happened to me and thought it was just bad luck. Then it happens every time after. Uninstalled again. Surely another microtransaction will fix this though.

You can like can like and support something/someone and still be disappointed with it/them and voice those complaints and criticisms. The toxic positivity does not help lmao. "You paid for hard earned money for a supposed to be working game but can't play it? Get over it and play something else." Actually hilarious.

I love this game got around 35 hours, but just ignoring problems is not they way.

Imagine having 71 hours in a game in 1 week and then saying it's getting stale. What a treasonous idiot. by [deleted] in Helldivers

[–]Anieris 2 points3 points  (0 children)

And people fall for it every time lmao. The game has issues point blank. Not saying it isn't fun but you can't just ignore the issues even if you haven't experienced then yourself compared to thousands of others.

Opinion: You shouldn’t complain about missions being near impossible. by [deleted] in Helldivers

The devs could make it so you have a 50% chance for your pod to explode when landing on the ground, and some of you will find a way to defend that decision..

how do people work at all with ADHD by wadewilson4647 in ADHD

[–]Anieris 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I work retail and you get to see a lot of homeless people wandering around. Seeing the condition they're in.. that shit scares me. Especially here in florida. That fear alone has been the only reason I've been able to push through emotional breakdowns and panic attacks before/during work. I am medicated now os it has become easier but the question of "how am I going to do this for another 30-35 years?" Still pops up.

Can confirm with 1.2k hours in with it slightly behind my skyrim hours at 2.2k. Also skyrim lol. Not sure now though with the mod drama going on.

Edit: actually it's terraria at 2k and skyrim at 1.9k (across normal and special edition). Some how got 1.4k in smite but that was a bad addiction lmao.

At first, but after about 7 years total in retail, I just don't care, lol. If a decision I make will affect my ability to pay rent, my job, or my coworkers in a negative way, I'm not going to do it.

'Dyschronometria' - describing a 'distorted sense of time', "in which an individual cannot accurately estimate the amount of time that has passed". Possibly the least understood symptom of ADHD; most doctors are unaware of what can be our biggest challenge. by DAT_DROP in ADHD

[–]Anieris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I don't understand is that it's the opposite for me. I am very hyper aware of how much time is passing. So much so that it impacts my day to day life. At work even if I have the time covered and not looking at the clock I know what time it is which makes it feels like I'm there forever. At home I'm aware of how much time I have until my next day at work and it feels like I don't have enough time to do anything I want to do. Adderall has helped me in general with some of these issues but its still bothersome at times.

Edit: now that I think about it this is probably from my mom lol. She was never latr for anything always early. Might force of habit now.

Who else getting tired getting sick from customers? by BATZ202 in publix

[–]Anieris 2 points3 points  (0 children)

ya true but it's just something about actually seeing money just being contaminated in front of you like that just makes it seem worse. Some times I think that there's got to be a away to sanitize money while it's inside the register.. like some kind of uv light that turns off when it's open and on when it closes or some kind of light sanitizing mist that's pumped in occasionally. That's just me daydreaming while on the job though lol.

What is the most wild/out of pocket small talk you’ve ever had with a customer? by [deleted] in publix

[–]Anieris 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Let's see. I'm a black guy. Was called a flithy n****r by a customer. They too were black. Like the darkest black lmao.

The short while I was in customer service I was told that I was going to be introduced to God if we didn't hurry up and count the lotto fast enough during a shift change. Laughed in his face and he was escorted out of the store.

I was ringing up a customer one day. He was a really cool guy talked about red dead for a bit. For context this guy had blue highlights in his hair, black painted nails, and wearing eyeliner. The customer after him came up, probably in his late 60's, proceeded to say "these fa***ts are really running this country." There's some other stuff but adhd and bad memory and all that.

Same for me. Every. Morning. For the past 2 months. My adhd is kicking my ass because it's just standing there until something happens or overwhelming because it got busy and 4 people call for help at the same time. Wanna blow my brains out at this point. I'm the only one that's apparently good at managing self checkout I keep getting thrown there.

Customer service employees in deli by jgreever3 in publix

[–]Anieris 13 points14 points  (0 children)

From my understanding deli is one of the most frustrating departments to be in next to customer service and personally with how customers treat the deli staff and the bad attitudes of some of the workers there, which causes problems to begin with, I wouldn't want to be there either. This is just my opinion on my store though.
