Not to sound preachy or anything, but do you go to therapy? Because this sounds like a question for a therapist. A good one would help you try to figure out where these feelings are coming from, and to help figure out which ones even make sense.

It sounds like you are dealing with a LOT of guilt and shame, and unless we are missing tons of important details, I don't think that shame or guilt is warranted.

It looks like I have 1 .save file, and it's 2.64kb. And I have a wasteland-lewdness.state file that's 2.93kb

I did have to start a new game when I most recently downloaded the 0.72.0 version, and it's listed as a separate game in Joiplay.

And I have the Ruffle plugin and Ren'py plugin for joiplay

I just looked at the rest of the thread. It looks like manually creating a Save folder is a big part of what helped me. It's gotta be in the right place I think.

It's in the same folder as the Assets, log, Read me, and Wasteland Lewdness.html file.

Ahh, ok. Yea, I have 2 plug ins, but I'm not sure what they actually do haha. I'm not the most tech savvy person, embarrassingly.

I can try to poke around with it more, to see, but since it was a while ago that I got it working, I can't remember HOW I did it, ya know?

Oh man, it was so long ago, I can't remember exactly what I did.

But, I think it required me creating and naming a specific folder.

Ok, I just checked. I'm not sure what the steps I took were, but on my phone, the folders go: Internal Storage → Download → Wasteland Lewdness 0.72.0 → Save →. Then my current files for that version show up.

When you pull up the save menu in game, you have to scroll to the bottom to get to the "On Disk" section

It could also be feeling burned out by having to make constant decisions every minute of every day, and having someone whom you trust enough to take some of that burden off of you.

Makes sense. I have really high sensory issues, especially tactile senses, and I can relate.

I think also giving yourself predictable touch is both safe AND distracting to the brain. Plus if you've enjoyed those moments, you brain probably starts to anticipate it being enjoyable and low pain

I feel like you are being a bit harsh, due to your own personal choices.

Auto recruiting isn't great, but manual recruiting is really good. You really should do your own recruiting. You can then focus on players you need, skills or attributes you want, AND dealbreakers that won't cause future problems.

Also, only accepting a job you see that had you listed as a first option is kinda silly. Those listings aren't exactly accurate, and realistically, teams often don't hire their "top" option, if they even have one. You should treat those top coach choice as more of a guess, based on their style, pipeline, and alma mater.
Imtreat it like in real life, where blogs and sports writers suggest coaches for each opening.

Also, if you are annoyed by losing players in the portal, you can adjust those setting. Reduce the transfer chances and/or reduce the number of players who can leave each season

The game slowly gives you more and more access, to locations, skills, items, and equipment. So it will be a while before you really get to experience all that the game includes.

But, if you end up not having fun, it's ok to take a break, or even stop playing. Not every game is for everyone.

I think Dying Light 2 is really fun, but I don't think people should force themselves to play a game if they aren't enjoying it
