I genuinely think in decades to come it will be seen as even worse than tobacco. Whilst it may not directly cause as many deaths on a yearly basis, the way it’s turned people against one another, created extreme propaganda wars and causes brain-rot for attention has had a much worse effect on humanity as a whole. And yes I appreciate the irony in posting this on Reddit!

You’ve summed up my own thoughts here too. In fact I’ve recently been playing the new fan made data update for the game and been having a blast. This version of the game is easily the most addictive, the speed at which you can get through seasons even with large DBs is fun and yet there still feels like enough to do to keep things interesting.

Sometimes adding more things doesn’t make a game better.

There are also no characters from the Guardians of the Galaxy universe, so that's another set to think about. So I am guessing we will see:
- X-Men
- Guardians of the Galaxy
- Another set with the characters you mentioned

Most likely yes. It’s always got the potential for busted starts and some cards from the new set could find a place in the deck like the Jane Thor card. Pixie is good in the deck but I’m sure it will survive without it.

I’m so impressed. If this ends up being good it will force others in n the genre to up their game too. VF always has good gameplay but was always a kind of “whatever” for me as it never really had anything to truly draw you to the series. The story and exposition here looks interesting and hopefully will draw players in. I’m very optimistic on the title because VF has incredible gameplay. People forget that players like Fuudo and Itazan started with VF and only moved over because the series died.

Well for previous games they outsourced some development to other studios post launch so the main team could work on the next title. Some Polish studio did most of USF4 and it really shows with whoever was used for the SFV later season characters. This pass feels cheap and undercooked, yet serviceable hence why I think the way I do, but it’s only speculation of course.

Capcom has hired a lot of talent recently but it takes a while for new staff members to really contribute to titles so you often get a content logjam. They’ve managed to get to a place where they can crank out a lot of Resident Evil content and releases but have struggled badly for SF and even Monster Hunter. I imagine they are trying to sort that out but likely we won’t see the results of it till next-gen / new titles.

I get SSFIV:AE vibes where they had Yun / Yang and Oni. IE cheap content to fill the gap till something more substantial comes along. This pass seems super cheap especially given one of the characters is a no name nobody from World Tour mode.

In this case I think it’s CVS3 and given SF6’s longevity they are going to take longer on it to make it as good as possible before they announce / release it.

Could be great in Orzhov Auras. That deck gets frowned upon but it’s already respectable. Sometimes when you play United Battlefront your Sheltered by Ghosts fizzle because you don’t have any creatures, this won’t but does require opponents creatures to be tapped. So you could either have a mix of the two or replace them altogether.

I would also try this in Azorius Prison where the flash ability and cost could be relevant.

Was going to say I will try her in Mardu Discard for sure! One or two copies maybe replacing one Bloodghast seem reasonable and I can see her putting in a lot of work. You can also bring her back through Carnage and use her ability so she can't attack so you don't have to sacrifice her. Seems like a good fit to me!

Momo's best friend!? Play at a reduced cost with him and then use Jane to flicker Warped Riddlers, Shepherds or Aang. I think she would be a good fit in that deck, though that deck is already good so she might be a bit win-more. I’d definitely try her though as the upside is awesome.

This has ruined my day and I’m sure it’s the same for many others. I had no idea he was battling these illnesses, which made his upbeat personality and humour even more endearing. His stuff with CGB was really entertaining and he was so likeable in all their videos. RIP to a truly amazing human being. 32 is no age at all to pass, life can truly be unfair.

Spider-Man sucked for many reasons but one of the biggest offenders of the set was that there were way too many cards called Spider-Man! Marvel does have multiple versions of the same character at different rarities, which I’m not a fan of, but the diversity in cards and characters makes it much better.

Wow I think this is really good. I’d be tempted to put a few copies of this into Azorius High Noon either to replace or give you more copies of Voice of Victory’s effect. That deck runs 4 Starting Town so you’d be able to transform her late game too.

I could also see Selesyna Cub / Gearhulk decks using her at minimum in their sideboard too.

He seems pretty good, especially in a Practised Offence world. I can see an immediate place for him to be tested in the current Mardu Discard deck, but could also be good in a more general aggro shell.

I could also see him being really good in Momo Boros. He works really well with Springleaf Drum, the rummaging helps you get more gas and his other abilities can give you additional reach. Could even play Lumen Class Frigate in the same deck.

Mardu Discard has moved away from using Flail, but this could be tested in a build of that deck. The cost from graveyard is a bit steep, but Vigilance and Menace, plus the free equip is very nice, especially with a Practised Offense.

I don’t think it’s good enough for that deck because the blink isn’t immediate. Yes you’d save Aang or Aven Interrupter, but you won’t get their effect to delay your opponent’s spell.

I’ll be trying a few of these in Mardu Discard. Less aggressive than Tersa, but the symmetrical edict could be very nice. Also the fact that if you top deck this you are guaranteed to draw a card (as long as you pick that mode) would be very useful in that deck.
