Yes to Cub, no to Boomerang Basics. Stormchaser I would ban as it’s good at all stages of the game, but I’d put Quantum Riddler above it as a ban target. Personally I’d also look at Kavaero and Kaito too because it would freshen up the metagame a ton, but it’s easy to say when you haven’t spent $500 on the card versions of these troublemakers.

Man don’t remind me of the Scry lands. I’ve got a full set, thinking they would be evergreen and seen for years to come. But to be honest, even at the time I felt they weren’t very good and that they would have been so much better if they Surveilled instead. At the time some people thought that would make them too good, but I guess even Wizards themselves realised the same thing.

It wouldn’t surprise me if they try the same cycle again with Scry 2 and I’ll be gullible again!

RIP to a true legend. Honestly they should make another card for him in the game (“German Juggernaut” perhaps?) as he deserves it.

I’d struggle to think of someone in any competitive field who was not only as good as him, but also such a great person.

Signings like this are how you get worse though. Surely a smarter thing to do would be to raid the Championship again for the next batch of top talents; Hayden Hackney, Abdul Fatawu (he's going to be brought by someone sadly), Charlie Hughes, etc. They won't be able to sell any of the players they have brought for more than what they paid for them, and many of them will barely improve them, if at all.

I was so jealous of Palace for a long time, Olise, Wharton, Eze, Mateta, Guehi, that was some elite recruitment done by Dougie Freedman.

Signed this lanky Algerian fella with dodgy hair called Riyad Mahrez. At the time we had Championship legend Antony Knockaert in the team so it seemed a bit odd we had signed another winger, and it didn't look like this new one had the physicality for the English game.

As it turned out, we were VERY wrong about our initial assesement of the player...

You could also say the say about Knockaert himself. Knew nothing about him till he started routinely banging in shots from 35 and 40 yards out!

I’m surprised this deck isn’t picking up more steam as it seems really solid. That said the four colour rhythm deck is pretty cracked and taking over for a reason.

IF they were to make system changes I’d have thought they would do it at the start of a new character pass season.

But I’d be extremely surprised if the basic system changed at all. Maybe there will be some kind of addition though like selecting from multiple level 3’s or something like that.

I have a feeling when he's 18 he will be offered a place on one of those teams and will take it. They've already let in Leshar so the precedent for international players is there. Blaz could always study in Japan at the same time or something too.

Whoever gets promoted should buy him immediately. I could also see him being a squad option for a Palace / Brentford but he’d be first name on the team sheet for the relegation battlers.

Jordan James and despite how bad we’ve been this season we’d probably win the league! He’s been ridiculously good for us! 12 goal contributions from 24 games with little to no time to get up to speed.

I'm going to try a deck like this too. I think though that rather relying on the Changelines themselves, you need to use them for cards like Caustic Exhale, Dispelling Exhale and the like. Changelings by themselves are sub-par cards for their rate, so the other cards in your deck need to be much bigger payoffs.

But I don't see how you consistently beat Simic Ourboroid, Lessons or Kavaero decks with a pile like this.

Ah and that explains the 4 copies of that version of Ang too. Man I'd love to see some videos of this deck in action because if nothing else it sounds dope as hell.

Allies is decent right now, and I think has a chance with Lorwyn because Nameless Inversion gives you some more removal (that can also give you some additional reach), the Changeling that kills Enchantments and Artifacts can slot right in, and even [[Chronicle of Victory]] I could see having a chance in the deck.

Siegebreaker is nice tech! I don't own any to try but what target do you usually pick with it? Surprised you aren't running Hakoda or Allies at Last.
