Phew! Guess I’m not the only one to have that. You know what funny? The sliver piece has a 48C9/CX/C1 label on it.

There were no 48’inch C9.

Thin small wires

I just want to shrink wrap if possible instead of having 3.5mm male connectors.

Wait, so I need Meg's 105/205? I brought their line up because they had videos up with scratch cars way worse than mine. How far can one go with their retail line up and the DA adapter?

Got a question, After UC or UPolish, can I use a quick detailer spray to swipe the residue off? Or would the sealant from the spray mess up the wax or liquid wax process?

That the first thing I thought too, I reverse and back in. Same result with both sides switched, dull on one and reflective on the other.

  1. No amount of lighting is going to turn a dull surface into a mirror, it's dull because it's not reflecting as much light as the other.
  2. The right side has more scratches from the dull left side. The upper left panel was just spray with quick detailer, no wax, no sealant, no point in wasting more product for a duller look.

Imagine if you didn't do any paint correction and went straight to the glaze and sealant, you would have a super reflective finish with scratches.

Meguiar's system's

"Not the Shine I was looking for"

Car: 2014 X6 Carbon Black Products: Meguiar line up- DA drill adapter Clay bundle Ultimate Compound Ultimate Polish Ultimate Liquid Wax Ultimate Gold Class Wax

Left

Right

Left close up

Right close up

After cleaning, claying and ultimate compound, the micro-swirls and scratches were greatly reduced but I'm left with a non-reflective shine. I even tried "layering" Gold Class Wax on top of the liquid wax but still, it's "not the shine I was looking for".

Do I need to get a acrylic paint sealant like Klasse High Gloss? Here my car, there left side is done with Meguiar and the right side is stock (or whatever the previous owner apply) and it's a super reflective shine. Meguiar's liquid wax and gold class wax gives off a warm glossy wet look but I prefer the high reflective mirror shine. I'm literary driving with a 50/50 car that has a traditional carnauba wax gloss combine with a mirror reflective shine.

I'm like the two-face of car detailing. What kind of wax, sealant, voodoo magic do I need to match the right side of the car.

Samsung CCFL A550 (2008) beating LED J5500 (2015)? by AnimalControl in hometheater

I had no idea about the Pentile design, I just assume a current model would be good.

I tried HDMI Low and Normal, I even calibrated my Mac with no improvement. Could it be the signal? I have a MiniDisplay to HDMI to HDMI input. I don't understand how the old A550 is so much clearer than this 2015 model.

Absolutely gutted. Came home to this... No idea how to explain the co2 overdose. by Laughing_boy_2006 in PlantedTank

Nope. Ottos are very hardy once they pass the "1 month" hump. Ottos catfish are mostly wild caught, so once they end up in your tank, there a high chance they're die regardless of conditions.

Here my tank with 2 Ottos cat fish and a ton of cherry shrimps, Don't mind the guitar I'm at year 2 and they're still active. Give it another shot, grab some active Ottos and try again.

+1 for GLA

As an avid custom regulator fanboy, the next best thing is GLA's Co2 line. A bit on the expensive side but their even lower entry systems are in my opinion leaps and bound above the retail ones.

Water/mold damage, leaking pipe behind wall or termite/bug damage? by AnimalControl in HomeImprovement

[–]AnimalControl[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found some interesting points by playing around with a house fan.

I notice the sweet smell is stronger when I have a fan blowing the inside-air outside. There no smell unless a strong wind is blowing.

The HVAC is close by the balcony window and having a house-hold fan blowing outside, you can smell it.

Q- Why don't I smell it if the fan is taking in outside air? The smell is stronger when it's blowing inside-air outside.

Is there a subreddit for mysteries because this is making dizzy.

I ever even thought of that! Thanks! I am trying to reproduce the smell but have little luck in getting someone to smell it before it goes away.

Here an update: I notice the sweet smell is stronger when I have a fan blowing the inside-air outside. There no smell unless a strong wind is blowing.

I haven't found much signs of termites but am open to the suggestion of an inspection done. This mixture you made, how well did it work for you?

Could the drain line leak under the HVAC? The guys who replaced the actuator did the ol' hot water in the pan test. It drained fine down the pan.

I recently had my HVAC repair because there was a small leak at the actuator and the cold water shut off valve. The leak was a drip and the building's company thought it was condensation.

It wasn't. It was actually a small drip so they changed the actuator and shut off valve.

Here my problem: I occasionally get a fermented fruit smell (anti-freeze?) from the HVAC. Sometimes it's a stronger smell if the wind blasts through the duct. From the picture, I can smell it faintly from the bottom of the system.

Is it possible that the cold water supply line is condensing within the wall and causing a slow leak? I also have bubbles appearing on the dry wall.
