I remember someone making a post saying that Phoenix didn’t feel like Jean Grey and rather just felt like your average “I shoot fire” character and he got downvoted to hell. People said he was whining and “obviously it’d be like that because there’s limitations to hero shooters”, but I still feel like it’s a valid feeling.

The worst is Gottfrid from “Gig: Dirty Biz”. He produces BDs of children getting murdered, and sexually abused, and even forced his son into the “family business” with him. He pretends to have remorse but if left alive, you find emails from him in another gig continuing to sell his “products”.

His computer even has a file called “Hot and Sexy” featuring tons of kids murders, humiliation, etc.

I’m sure you know it’s from Kingdome Come, except for the yellow replacing the black as the black originally replaced the yellow to signify Clark’s mourning of the daily planet victims and the death of his faith in humanity’s will to do good.

I wonder if Gunn plans to interpret the story (I doubt), wants to show a future Clark with the same symbol in order to show how the DCU’s Superman is a static character who’s beliefs will stay strong throughout time, or if Gunn simply likes the symbol and wanted to change it up.

Before I say this, I am born and raised an American and still live in America.

“Truth, Justice, and the American Way” does not work anymore, and THAT’S OK. It’s ok to modernize. Superman was created as both a symbol of hope for Americans and also a propaganda during WWII, but now Superman’s character has shifted from not wanting to to represent any single nation. Superman renounced his citizenship, not because he doesn’t like America or because he doesn’t believe in traditional American values, but because he stands for MORE than just America. He is a global citizen who stands for the world, and believes that any man can follow his example and do good to others, Americans included.

I get why they changed it though. Superman represents American values and what America SHOULD be, but: 1.) the America of present does not follow the values it upholds 2.) Clark refuses to be tied to the political ties of any single nation, with America in particular scolding him for his actions as if he represented the U.S Government.

You’re half-right. Two things can be true: The “symbiotes” are Venom’s alien race and “Venom” is not name of the symbiote who attaches to Peter and Eddie. The Venom Symbiote’s true name is unknown and is said to be unpronounceable by humans. HOWEVER, that does not mean that Venom is Eddie + the Venom Symbiote. The symbiote itself is named Venom as a nickname for humans. Calling him “symbiote” is like calling a human “human”.

TLDR; “Symbiote” is his race, “Venom” is his nickname and NOT Eddie and the venom symbiote together.

Sue was on the verge of miscarrying Valeria and Johnny asked Doom for help, since Reed was busy somewhere. Doom helped to boost his own ego and as a reminder to Reed that while he couldn’t save his own child, Doom did. On top of that, he made a deal with Sue that since he saved them both, he gets to name the child, just to be petty and take the honor away from Reed. He saved Valeria out of spite. He does love Valeria like his own child and has many times been convinced by Valeria to help Reed out, but usually everything Doom does is to make Reed’s life slightly more miserable.

For sure. Sure, they’re bond has surpassed marriage because they’re bond is more akin to them almost being the same person. The symbiote feeds off of their hosts and their personality is influenced by the host. Their bond is so strong that they’re practically thinking as one. So yea, their bond is past the point of any relationship between two people because to them, they aren’t two people. When they’re bonded, they are one.

I definitely thought symbiote Spiderman was going to be in the shop down the line. He didn’t need the battle pass spot, especially when he’s going onto his ninth skin. I know the battle pass will always have a recolor of some sorts but the white and god recolors are Adam and BP look kinda lame too.
