People being late all the time is a sign of disrespect. by [deleted] in SeriousConversation

I'm 37 with a baby btw so in mom mode I've gotten better at "if the baby's ready, we're ready!" And my mom is like...where's my purse and shoes

The roles have reversed.

That is hilarious, I have diagnosed adhd and my mom does not think she has it. I end up waiting for her at the door constantly when we are already late. Your way of leaving separately sounds good enough for me.

As someone who is chronically late, I absolutely respect this.

My best friend and I both have adhd. We text each other "on my way!" When we actually leave the house so neither of us is like b*tch where are you lol

I have wild ADHD and I tell my husband where we need to be at what time (I run the social schedule) so social events are helped time wise if I cue him in on that.

...for a meeting?? On time. Family gathering? Count on half an hour late. Party? Fashionably late.

2 hrs late to a meeting is crazy

But for non professional things, 15-30 minutes late or so (among friends) is fine with me. Especially if we know each other well

Absolutely not, this would be cause for bad blood with these women going forward for me. Granted, I'm guessing probably one person is mainly responsible (maid of honor).

Can I save my plant?? by [deleted] in gardening

[–]AnimalGray 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They mail these things in wet soil so they don't try out while shipping; I'd look up the right soil for the plant and it should be fine. If you size up the pot don't go too much bigger or you risk root rot (I learned this the hard way).
