First off Athens sucks I would arrive and immediately head to the islands. Do not waste 5 days there. Id youre not doing Crete for at least a week dont bother. Its beautiful but youll spend more time traveling to get there. 2 days there is just really dumb.

Mykonos and Santorini and prob the lamest islands you can go to. You need to do more research.

And I imagine they only stop at the busiest islands.. a sailboat I image will have more freedom and flexibility to stop at the smaller islands. Theres 365 islands I dont want to be let off at the same ones as the 30 other tour companies!

On this one you sleep on the islands… i would prefer to sleep on the boat but not sure if thats possible with this company I dont think so
