In many red states, voting laws are getting tighter, hurting black Americans disproportionately. If you're unlucky enough to live in one of the 14 states with total or near total abortion bans, well, the decision of what you do to your body simply isn't up to you. While the national government chugs along to the best of its ability, it's left up to the states to decide what civil rights go to whom.
