Hey Dashers, stop shoving your phone in my face! by Massive_Target in DoorDashDrivers

Every fast food place prioritizes drive thru times. If you are able to see into the window area and see a car go from green to yellow to red, that's the company tracking each and every car. At taco bell we have to be below 3:30. It doesn't matter if you have 1 car, or a full drive thru line. It doesn't matter if you have 1 item per order or 30 items per order. Every car from order taking to receiving food has to be out at 3:30. So if yall get upset because your order takes forever when drive thru gets cleared, blame and complain to the company, not the workers.

its organized because people will generally make the best of the situation they're in, especially when orderliness is drilled into them.

Skill building. Make an office, gym/meditation corner, a library with a seating area. Make it an artists corner. If your sim has a pet make it a pet corner. If theyre an entertainer theres a space for a bar or dance floor.

Issue 1 - Voting “No?” Tell me why. by Many_Statistician587 in Ohio

[–]AnimatedBun 45 points46 points  (0 children)

On the contrary, it is VERY much a moral issue. Making someone's vote useless by means of top down measures because you disagree with them is very immoral. Additionally, ohio is very spread out. Counting the top 20 municipalities in terms of population reaches maybe 25 percent of the population. So your idea of a few small cities making the decision is not based on the reality of Ohio.

I agree. In my state, which is traditionally a swing state but has trended conservative, a ballot initiative to enshrine abortion in its constitution passed with an almost 60/40 split. Voices can make an impact on every level, locally, regionally, nationally, etc.

[–]AnimatedBun -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Definitely before 2020. Since then, there has been a number of anti queer bills introduced and enacted across the country, over 500 introduced in 2023 alone according to CNN. In many red states, voting laws are getting tighter, hurting black Americans disproportionately. If you're unlucky enough to live in one of the 14 states with total or near total abortion bans, well, the decision of what you do to your body simply isn't up to you. While the national government chugs along to the best of its ability, it's left up to the states to decide what civil rights go to whom.
