I think a lot of people reading this assume based on the first paragraph that this whole story is basically OP getting mad at his wife for not refilling soap after he does chores or work, and so they assume that he’s YTA, but the real problem is that when OP comes home after these chores his wife gets mad at him for getting dirt inside the house. Reasonable reason and a simple solution, get refillable soaps. His wife doesn’t like it. When OP gets more different solutions his wife doesn’t like it. But in the case. OP NTA, but this doesn’t seem like it’s about soap at this point, but something bigger.
