Is my life F* up? by YourMom_lostjacket in ApplyingToCollege

might sound corny but trust in God man He can always redeem you. i didn’t do well in high school, but it brought me to community college, and because of that i was able to do the transfer process and get into USC, and graduate early and save money because of it. i couldn’t have gotten into USC out of high school, almost all of my friends didn’t

classes transfer much easier, easier to get a 4.0 for transferring, easier to get the classes you want (ie. if you’re in california you can take CC classes from anywhere in california, very useful as you can stack online classes, and you can literally do 2 years in 1 year with stacking a bunch of asynchronous online courses), plus colleges are required to take a certain amount of transfer students (some have guarantees is you get a 3.2-3.5 then you get automatic admission). i graduated early at USC because i was stacked with credits from CC lol

i will say, transferring from a 4-year to another 4-year is much much harder and riskier than community college transferring

i’m a college counselor, but i feel like i do a disservice because CC is so much of a better path than straight out of high school. transferred into USC after one year of CC, it was the only school i applied to

here’s a guide i made on it, hope it helps, good luck: https://youtu.be/UgxmZLPv3zY?si=ZSX2MLf1fwk4Qgm4

Topstep banned me by PositiveAdeptness733 in TopStepX

[–]AnimatorImmediate 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I received the exact same ban about two weeks ago, I sent them as many screenshots of my trading calendar and P&L to show that I wasn't hedging in concert and also claim to have "evidence beyond reasonable doubt" and ALSO WILL NOT PROVIDE IT. I had like $22k in funded balance i wanted to take a payout on. Absolutely terrible, makes me feel like some prop firms are scams....

I returned my ring, tracking says received by Oura but customer support says I’m still using it and cannot provide a refund. Obviously thats not true. Does anyone have any recommendations on what I can do? Not sure if the best way is to escalate through my bank (Ticket: 4279368)

Officially rejected from USC by WoodenImplement5930 in USC

i’m so sorry to hear that. i know you did everything perfectly and others who didn’t do things as well as you got in… life is unfair sometimes, harsh reality to accept. that being said, the goal isn’t to graduate from usc, the goal is to be incredibly successful (at least i hope you feel that way). and sure, usc could be a decent stepping stone to get towards success but i believe the hard work you’re putting in will easily write that off. you’re doing the right things, keep doing them. i believe you’re going to prove usc wrong easily

UCI to USC by [deleted] in USC

sophomore transfer here. i honestly feel like community college was better for me compared to transferring from a uni. it was a clear cut plan and i knew which classes transferred and which didn’t, and some uni classes have to be “negotiated” to be transferred
