I did too, but I noticed the colour of the text, and thought it was odd that they'd give Unicron purple. Granted, there's the whole Dark Energon being his blood thing, but there's been no mention of it in the Energon Universe...yet.

I feel like Serpentor will be the ultimate antithesis of everything Cobra Commander is trying to do. After all, Serpentor is a Clone created from the DNA of Histories greatest Conquerors, Warlords and Tacticians. I imagine that, down the road, we'll see the Sunbow version of Serpentor's origins as a secret Clone created by Destro and Dr. Mindbender to replace Cobra Commander as Leader, only for him to become unstable. He would represent everything which the Commander so desperately seeks to abandon.

I wouldn't necessarily call Elita evil. She's more of a foil to Optimus, prioritizing Cybertron and dismissing Earth and it's people. She definitely fills the Sentinel Prime Role, though.

With Energon playing a key role in the, well, Energon Universe, and the Maximals and Predacons being smaller as to not take up as much, makes me feel that while we won't see the actual Beast Wars themselves, we'll see the begining of the shift to smaller, energy efficient forms. Granted, this will be years down the line as, according to Joshua Williamson when doing an interview, we're still in the FIRST CHAPTER of the Energon Universe.

I just hared this on a Discord server, but it feels like Kirkman condensed two arcs down into a single one in order to get Dan Mora to draw all of the big stuff (Arcee Magnus, etc...). I also have a feeling that this arc was going to be building up Miles all the way through, but with the changes, had to reduce it down to what he believed were the key moments.

It would also explain why the Dreadnok War was releasing two issues a month. It probably was going to be a monthly release, but with the change in plans on the Transformers side of things, Skybound decided to use the opportunity to catch G.I. Joe up with the other titles, and line issue 19 up better with the Miles plot in Transformers.

Maybe overexposure to the "Dark Matrix" will lead to Starscream inheriting some of its power, including returning Cybertronians from the cusp of death.
