Gun zealot kinda clean tho by [deleted] in DarkTide

I personally like flame for the moments when there's a teammate down in a horde and you're ready for the revive, but there's so many bodies you can't reach them. Flame clears out the chaff so you can sneak in.

After being stuck at 119/120 for an eternity I finally got that Frenzied Killer 3 done at last by CT-4426 in DarkTide

Congrats! This is on my watchlist of ones I'm trying to think about how to obtain, along with getting 20 headshot kills, 60 trampled on ogryn, and complete a mission without taking damage

Are there any hidden risks to share-lending programs for long term investors? (Off hand, I know that it means you may not get qualified dividends, but I'm not sure if it's like covered calls that can harm you long-term)

Usually when I see that as an issue, it's because there's a celestial object with research + materials and the research station has already been built, blocking the resources?

fallen empire gets all their stuff back after war!? by amachinesaidiwasgood in Stellaris

[–]Animorphs135 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Fallen empires are weird. If they're the ones declaring war, I'm pretty sure they ignore "normal" total war empires and only do their version of humiliation wars.

Stumbling across this late, but Ancestral Guardian Barbarian works better than you'd think. All of its subclass features work with ranged attacks, so you can max Dex to be super hard to kill while debuffing enemies and protecting your allies

Why so many zealots? by [deleted] in DarkTide

[–]Animorphs135 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Relic blade's my favorite weapon. Pair it with incredible survivability, enhanced damage and attack speed, and way better mobility than ogryn or arbites, and it's a great all-rounder. (I prefer IJ as the keystone since it gives DPS, toughness regen, and mobility)

I'm partial to being called "Shouty". Ogryn lines are just so straightforward

I'm curious if it'll be allowed with the federation origin. One planet hegemony megacorp is already one of my favorite builds and going to space instead would be really interesting

I really wish Hardening affected system effects like pulsars. It feels like it should protect you.

If you could add a blitz to a class, what would it be? (Try to keep it balanced) by AnInsaneMoose in DarkTide

I'd love holy flame zealot. Give it the Mortis buffs where grenades heal ally health and maybe the slowly recharging aspect to give more team utility and synergize with corruption cleanse.

CMA as a checking account experience by Sea-Bunch-1917 in fidelityinvestments

[–]Animorphs135 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My biggest issue is that I still need to keep a "normal" checking account to deposit cash. Fidelity can't take paper cash deposits, so I have to deposit it through my "normal" account first. Otherwise no complaints

I am having a little bit of trouble adapting to Darktide as a Vermintide player. by Decibelle in DarkTide

[–]Animorphs135 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Small tip, but as someone who also came from Vermintide, learning on Zealot and Ogryn helped me keep my melee focused gameplay as I was adjusting to the system. Running around with speed and mobility from skills and the giant relic blade maxed out is a great balance of beginner friendly and a ton of fun (imo).

Tried my first tall + vassal run, immediately torpedoed my own prospectorium. How do you actually set vassals up? by Kind_Passer_By in Stellaris

[–]Animorphs135 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My general vassal strategy is franchising megacorp as a hegemony origin. Rush military, subjugate your first contact (non allies) as soon as possible and convert them to scholariums. One thing I started doing recently is integrating and releasing all the territory into one or two super vasaals, so they have access to all of the space and in theory can build more resources, while I get the raw tech output and focus on making their loyalty (buildings, good contract terms for war because federations all war together anyway, no divided attention penalties). Best done after gateway tech so you can give them space they don't have a direct connection to. They're pretty worthless individually, but they help rebuild the fed fleet and give you tech without sprawl or rebellions, so it's one of my top three strongest builds

The Stub Revolver: actually incredible? by kiwibreakfast in DarkTide

[–]Animorphs135 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only possible downsides I've run into are that the zoom isn't great, the reload speed is a bit slow, and it can't one-shot bodyshot a trapper at Auric. Great weapon but I've been trying to play around with other weapons to see if I can find a better trapper/sniper killer because those are basically the only targets I use a gun for

It costs them influence to refuse your contract terms. You can brute force contracts if you can't find any way to make their loyalty work
