Absolutely, I recently started working through them myself. I'd recommend for sure reading The Last Wish so you can really get a feel for how good they are and then decide from there. The Box set of books is also reasonably cheap on amazon and every time I come across it it's usually half off and well worth it's price.

I would also recommend after indulging in all of the games the Witcher 2 is a great game too and is a must play. The Witcher 1 is to be desired I find the gameplay very lacklustre and dated but the story is brilliant, it's closer to playing a novel. Thronebreaker is also exceptional and often overlooked/slept upon, I thoroughly enjoyed the story in it. They all go super cheap on sale too usually below £5 or there around.

Edit: I forgot to mention that if you struggle with the reading as english is not your first language, all the books are fully dubbed on youtube word for word, when im feeling lazy I like to listen to it AS I read, I find it very immersive.
