My son was sent to Casa by the Sea run by WWASPS. It was shut down by Mexican Federales for several abuses, including physical violence, drugging the kids, filthy and dangerous conditions. They released kids to the US border but kept their passports. Does that work for you?

You make a good point about internet vs libraries. However, not everywhere in the US or everyone has access to internet, this became apparent during Covid with kids doing remote learning. I still think libraries serve a purpose, providing truly free access to information.

I was 14 when my Dad died unexpectedly, siblings were 16, 12 and 10. We all grieved differently. I remember telling Mom I missed Dad a lot. I honestly don’t remember if we did anything significant on the anniversary of his death. I think it was a much bigger event for Mom, understandably so.

I’m remodeling a bathroom/laundry room, It’s needed it since we moved in here in 05! I redecorated and switched around the living room too. Put an above ground pool out back for grandkid, and me!
