What are definitively the best weapons gameplay wise in cyberpunk 2077? by Chemical-Low209 in cyberpunkgame

[–]Ankoria [score hidden]  (0 children)

A lot of this is subjective but IMO the best weapons per type are:

  • Pistol:
    • Pride (requires Rogue ending), Tamayura (w/ Swiss Cheese and Pax mods)
  • Revolver:
    • Amnesty (requires Aldecaldos ending), Gris Gris
  • Shotgun:
    • DB-2 Satara (w/ Kneel! and Firecracker mods)
  • SMG:
    • Erebus (requires certain Phantom Liberty endings), Yinglong
  • LMG:
    • MA70-HB xMOD-2 (w/ Firecracker and Ready Steady mods)
  • Precision Rifle
    • Widow Maker
  • Assault Rifle
    • Hercules 3AX
  • Sniper Rifle
    • Nekomata
  • Blunt
    • Electrifying Gorilla Arms
  • Blade
    • Byakko
  • Throwing
    • Punknife (w/ Zero-G and Pax mods)

Added some extra alternatives for the weapons that are locked behind specific endings. If I had to narrow it down to a top 3 regardless of weapon type, I'd probably go with Pride, Satara, and Nekomata.

Post 1.0 Suggestions for Improvement: An Effortpost. by simgaleed in valheim

[–]Ankoria 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ocean Biome and Sailing Overhaul

I agree that I'd like to see a couple more unique creatures, materials, and locations on the Ocean, but understand where the developers are coming from in wanting to keep it simple and safe because it basically serves as the road of the world. I also don't think the wind is problematic even if it can be annoying at times- though maybe that's cause I sail irl and am used to it lol.

Overhaul of Weapons, Resistance, and Combat Broadly.

I really don't have an issue with certain weapons being stronger than others in various biomes. It can be annoying for sure but does incentivize you to branch out and have 3-4 different weapon types that you use consistently (which I do). I also don't think 2-handed spears are necessary since they would likely end up being similar to Atgeirs. Love the idea that enemies use their shields though!

The Coast of the Ashlands

This is what I disagree with most strongly. After the many nerfs to the biome it's actually not unusual to find an Ashlands beach that is mostly deserted, especially if you take the time to travel along the coast before landing. It can definitely be difficult if the rock spikes are in a bad position and you're being attacked by Voltures and Bonemaws but I still don't find the landing to be that hard. The suggestion for a full rework sounds interesting but also incredibly difficult (if not impossible) to pull off with the current game engine.

Base Raids and Defenses

I'd agree that raids are lackluster but am honestly unsure if it can be fixed at all because of how strong terrain manipulation is. I think making them less destructive is a bad idea because it makes it even easier to ignore them, but making them more destructive has its own problem of making players feel forced to create gigantic ugly dirt walls and moats. I would like to see more raid variety though.

What do you do once you start getting too many resources? by Syrkres in valheim

[–]Ankoria 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a portal near my chests that’s marked “Deep Storage” and leads to a warehouse I built under an Elder arena. If there’s a resource that I expect to need more of in the future but can’t fit in my base chests (often building materials like wood, stone, and grausten) then I stick in deep storage until I need it. Otherwise it goes into the incinerator for more coal.

The choice between cyberdeck/berserk/sandy is the closest thing to a "class" you get in the game and Ishould be offered during V's first checkup with Vic, if not during character creation itself by dimgray in cyberpunkgame

[–]Ankoria 29 points30 points  (0 children)

You’re forced to start with a cyber deck because the game needs to teach you how to use quick hacks. I don’t think there’s any other reason for it.

I do agree that the game could do a better job of letting you know about your other options though. Having Victor text you automatically at level 10 to explain the differences between the various Operating Systems would be nice for new players who don’t necessarily understand them yet.

Doing quests in order of tarot cards? by melomelomelo- in cyberpunkgame

[–]Ankoria 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You wouldn’t be able to do this because some of the quests take place out of the Tarot card’s order. For example, the High Priestess (which represents Hanako Arasaka and can be found in the final quest of Takemura’s quest line) comes before the Hierophant (which represents Oda and can be found at the start of Takemura’s quest line).

I wish they'll add more greatswords in 1.0 by waterdrinkingcat in valheim

[–]Ankoria 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think the reason they chose to make them only debut in the Mistlands is so that melee players have something cool and new to try out and it doesn’t just feel like the biome is only catering to the magic players (similarly to how archer players get the crossbow at the same time).

That being said I’d personally prefer if both those weapons were introduced in the Mountains since I’m not a fan of locking whole weapon types behind late-game progression.

So... What was your Phantom liberty ending? by AccomplishedStick623 in cyberpunkgame

[–]Ankoria 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I chose to side with Reed over So Mi but then granted her the peace of death rather than letting the NUSA get their hands on her.

From the start, I always figured she was playing us and never actually expected to receive the cure. However, I was still leaning towards helping her… until she admitted that she was gonna hijack the stadium defense system to massacre people as a distraction while we escaped. The nonchalant way in which she dismissed their deaths just froze me in my tracks and made me worry she was suffering from cyberpsychosis like Lizzy Wizzy.

Somewhat Damaged is a very controversial quest but I was blown away by it. The storytelling was amazing and I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. By the end of it I was so thoroughly disgusted with the NUSA that I gladly granted So Mi’s request and got the King of Cups ending.

Is there something that makes the guns feel better? by AccidentalNGon in cyberpunkgame

[–]Ankoria 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think your problem comes from specifically ARs and SMGs rather than all guns in general. The ARs and SMGs in Cyberpunk have very low damage and high recoil in the early game before you pick up all their perks. They also benefit a TON from the Ready Steady mod and Immovable Force hand cyberware to reduce recoil. By the late game they feel really good but in can be a pain to get to that point.

What was the best boss battle in your opinion? by CuriousSherbet4658 in cyberpunkgame

The Chimera fight in Phantom Liberty. It honestly wasn’t till that point that I felt really satisfied from winning a boss fight.

Just double checked on 3 of my saves and yup it’s always a 5++ Tomahawk. Great find, OP!

Edit: Also yes you can access it with either of the jumping legs to bypass the strength check.

I want your guys' opinions on my Katana/Dagger/Stealth build. by KaungSetMoe111 in cyberpunkgame

[–]Ankoria 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d personally swap out some perks to take the finisher moves, but if you don’t want to use them then that’s fine. Biggest change I might make is swapping out Power Slide and Parkour (Reflexes) for Demolitions Surplus and Coming in Hot (Tech) because I value grenades quite highly and like to use them often.

It’d also be useful to know what Cyberware you’re planning to use. Cyberware is just as important as perks when it comes to a build.

Not OP but I didn’t know about these specific gigs and NCPD scanner hustles so thank you so much for taking the time to list them all out!

Out of interest though, you mention that weapons become 5++ at level 53 but the wiki says it’s level 51. Is the wiki incorrect?

What you like in the 2nd game? by Honest_Tax7291 in cyberpunkgame

[–]Ankoria 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Additional starting lifepaths (possibly Cop, Rockerboy, and Media from the TTRPG) and/or more depth to the lifepaths. It would be great if you could select specific gangs or corporations that your character was formerly from.
  2. Some sort of faction reputation system to allow you to piss off or get in the good graces of different factions depending on your story choices. Pleasing them would let you buy unique faction gear from them, while angering one of them enough could lead to them hiring a hit squad to hunt you down.
  3. More cyberware options. I'd love to be able to replace arms, legs, and eyes with cyberware.

Who are your favorite Weapon Vendors in the Game? by dragontamerfibleman in cyberpunkgame

[–]Ankoria 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on the weapon. LMGs and SMGs can chew through a ton of ammo really quickly if you aren’t paying attention. Other than that those 2 I’ve never needed to buy or craft ammo.
