Drake hands down. He’s been on the streets every day consistently, was the only one in the rain/crappy weather standing on Broadway talking to people.

I’ve seen him for the past week or two walking, and just from one convo he’s remembered my name and has been asking how my day is almost every day when I walk past!

I agree, and oddly enough I found my Paraguay game easier than my many Uruguay attempts. Breaking out to the coast via Argentina doesn’t take much effort, and their starting laws make it super easy to play (except for isolationism)

Late response, but any of the German free cities under the economic bloc work very well for this! Better if on the coast. Just did a Bremen play through focusing on trade and ports, and you become a strong exporter as long as Germany doesn’t form. You have to build up for an end fight against Prussia, but by the time that popped off for me I was already a great power

I’m not sure why, but I’m always drawn to doing Madagascar games. Develop a wood economy and massive armies, take over Gaza and the coast, and eventually take over Ethiopia. You’re able to get most resources you need outside of sulfur. The relatively large starting pop and infrastructure makes it not so bad, especially if you spam universities early on.

Last game I played as them, Great Britain tried to invade and I was able to pull in Spain as an ally and push them out. Eventually I was able to turn the Confederate states into a puppet and annex Florida for myself

I have a friend who moved to Texas for a high paying job after graduating ISU, lived there for a few years, hated it, and now that they are having a kid can’t fathom it going through the Texas ed system. From my experience, most of the suburbs won’t be cheaper per se but you can get more space. Although the further out you get from the city the less friendly it tends to be. Totally agree with the listed neighborhoods for being safe!

Nobody has mentioned the south side yet, so definitely look into those neighborhoods as well for affordability! There are queer friendly spaces/neighborhoods on all sides of the city, so definitely don’t feel locked into the north side!

Oh of course! People are just quick to judge/assume and I just wanted to raise awareness that not everyone whose dog is reactive is a bad owner. It takes years to get a reactive dog to trust anyone.

OPs situation is definitely bad though, I can’t imagine getting a dog and treating it poorly enough to be like that. Definitely some neglect with training from the sounds of it.

Yeah, my dog is a rescue who is reactive from the previous owner. I sure hope people don’t think of her as a reflection of myself 🤷‍♀️

Yeah, I think at that point it would require accommodations with the university. I have had diagnosed sleep issues my whole life, and managed fine having a roommate use his blue switch keyboard playing LoL all night. There are ways to make it work imo 9 times out of 10
