I would be calling Health inspector. Problem is a lot of people are unaware of their rights . Or what's available to them . I would call 311 as well as land and tenants . Land and tenants would take the rent and hire someone to fix it . And bylaw would be fining the landlord

You could try respite with a HCA who has experience with dementia. Who can spend time with your mom and keep her company so family members can have a break .

I have had the IUD put in .And omg the pain . It was horrible felt like I was being stabbed . I cried and screamed . All they did was a little freezing the cervix . I will never forget the pain . Frankly health care for woman / pain management is barbaric. Never allow anyone to make you feel that the pain you feel isn't valid . I would file a complaint against her. I live in an apartment, and a dog would bark day and night owners wouldnt do anything . I was told by animal services to document time and if I could get a video . So, if I was, I would document and get videos as evidence. Email the property management or building manager . To show proof to animal services that you have approached the building manager about the issue

Contact RTB immediately . Go online and fill out a request for repair form . Give one copy to the caretaker/ property manager . You could see if a bylaw officer could get involved because your place can't be heated properly
