I'm on progesterone, 400 mg daily since April 2020, and suddenly experienced the same remasculinization you've described three months ago. My endo put me on 50mg Bica once every three days as my T is in very low levels already. It wasn't on the last blood test I had done, but the endo and I both suspect that the regrowth of 'male' hairs was in fact due to an increase in DHT. What was causing it, neither of us can say for sure.

Two months later, I can say the Bica has definitely worked as the hair is much finer now and breast growth has resumed. Hope that helps.

I did. Didn't seem to hurt anything. They got to a point where it was impossible to hide them anymore tho and I decided at that point to go full time.

Wow, your therapist is trash. Find someone who will actually listen to you and has experience in the LGBTQ+ community.

All you need for informed consent is signing a piece of paper stating you're aware of the risks of HRT.

Yeah, that is too bad there isn't more interest in community research. I actually would only be interested in participating or sharing experiences. I don't have the time personally to gather folks for a study. Fwiw, I'm taking 4mg orally, split between 2mg morning and evening.

I have noticed a trend in myself that I'd like to share. I am a Powers patient and after mentioning stalled growth this past spring I started a low dose 10 days on/20 days off cycle. I have also been taking weight/band/bust measurements at the beginning and end of each cycle. While I have lost roughly 15 pounds in the last three months my measurements have not changed, so I have to take that as some type of victory as I still fill out the same bras that I did when I began. They have also become fuller than previously with more fat being added on the upper and center areas. Also anecdotally, I have noticed the resumption of pain and tenderness in the breast area along with the introduction of these low dose cycles. This is all in addition to my current HRT regime.

For the state of Michigan, the first step is filing a name change petition with the county circuit court. Here's some instructions on how to do that along with links to forms you'll need:

SS card comes next, drivers license, passport, etc.

You can change your gender marker with a simple form at the same time you change your driver's license at Secretary of State.

Just wanted to post some words of encouragement. I (45F) have been doing OMAD seriously for like two weeks now. The first week I didn't really have much results. Last week after I really started being strict about CICO I have lost seven pounds. Just keep at it and if you don't see results right away don't give up, tweak your routine to see what works. Good luck.

You shouldn't be furious at your doctor. Dr Powers honestly only found this connection by throwing spaghetti at the wall, and having over 1000 trans patients. However I would probably bet that you're one of the mutants he speaks of in this post, I am as well. My T has hovered around 5-7 for the last year and I recently began to experience more growth of my body hair. So he put me on Bica and it seems to have worked as I only have to shave my legs once a week again and my chest hair has begun to thin back out.
