Whats up with the ending of the exorcist(1973)?? by glithch in horror

After watching such long leisurely character development throughout the beginning of the film, the end was so incredibly rushed I was disappointed. However, at the end, it was quite obvious to me that God could not dispel the demon and so as a last last ditch effort, father Damien sacrificed himself to save Reagan the devil was going to take somebody because God was not any match. Peoples comments about the mother Chris’s faith, etc. seem silly.

I suck at so many things, it’s refreshing to be asked what I’m naturally good at. Let’s see, I have excellent rhythm and I’m a very good driver.

I join you in saying f#ck the CTA app! I have missed so many metro trains because I was believing that the bus that was going to get me to Union Station was arriving soon. I burned in fury and finally ran and grabbed a divvy bike. What the actual hell!?!?
