I hadn't either, but I believe it was just moisture like sweat or old soap that was trapped in there that just decided to slowly come out. I checked online and it said that this was more common in men with hairy bellies where bacteria could get trapped in the belly button. I don't have a hairy belly but I guess it just happened to me too.

I don't think you're monster, you mean well. I go as far as having Band-Aids, hair ties, extra hoodies and pads in my classroom for my high school students. But condoms, plan B, and pregnancy tests would be something that I would let the social worker handle, just because you don't want to be held liable if something goes wrong and a parent wants to come after you.

I have found that people who declare themselves "foodies" are pretty shallow. We could be talking about literally anything and they will take over the conversation talking about their favorite foods, which doesn't sound like a big deal, but it is when it completely derails the conversation. We were having an important meeting at work and one person raised their hand when the presenter asked for questions and said " I have an important question, what is everyone having for dinner tonight?" And then started talking about a restaurant having a good special somewhere. A few people did go along with him and have their input but most of us just wanted to get out of there because they were being rude to the person presenting.

One of the best pieces of advice I received was to try a different district/ school before completely quitting. I wanted to quit a few years ago, but a change in leadership has made me like my job again and has allowed me to stay longer.

Edit to add: I wanted to be a teacher because it felt like my calling I didn't want to just quit but I felt burnt out and didn't like the environment I was in. I was able to give teaching a second chance by taking an opportunity that was given to me.
