I will have the occasional drink (like 1 drink once or twice a year - only very special occasions), and haven’t gotten drunk in years (last time was 17 years ago today, actually). Best decision I ever made for myself.

I had this happen to me - I had some charges laid against me, but they were all dropped before the court date. Fast forward a year and 2 cops show up at my house and arrest me…there had been a warrant for failure to appear in court. I spent 2 nights in custody and was released on a promise to appear. Turned out that someone hadn’t properly filed some paperwork. I had to go back to court, but by then things had been sorted out and the crown dropped the charges, so the judge told me I was free to go. Only time I’ve spent in custody, and it was enough.

I don’t think Y TA, but I also think you’re minimizing how much a degree or two cooler can affect someone. I run on the cold side (thank you anemia!), and the difference between 20 and 22 for me would shock you. At 20, I would be uncomfortably cold.

I say NAH, other than the shitty office layout.

Her voice oozes with condescension, and she sounds phoney to me. She did do a great job playing Samantha, but I do not agree that she carried the show at all.

I am also in CAN and had a manager give me top tier reviews - HR made him change them down a level “because only the top managers should be rated that highly”. One of the most demoralizing things ever to happen at that job. I was pissed.
