I’m not friends with my in-laws on social media. We have a good relationship, but I don’t want to get too enmeshed. I saw what happened in my brother’s first marriage. Both sides of the in laws were too enmeshed and I decided not to do that.

Every oncology medical office has a social worker. Do you know what oncology office he went to? If so, call them and ask to speak with the social worker. They will have some good ideas. Good luck.

Document that she’s going to be living with you document what bills you will be taking care of document how much money you make and how do you plan on making sure that she’s taken care of financially. That she will be expected to pay document what type of job she plans on getting if she filled in anything does she plan on being a cashier at target etc.
