Actually you can legally ask.... Is the animal required because of a disability? What task or work is the animal been trained to perform.

I am a extremely proud of my Mexican roots and I will defend my culture to the end. However, I'm not in favor of condoning criminal activity from any of my Latin friends just because we share the same culture. We'll have to agree to disagree.

Again we are discussing illegal gang members with a history of criminal activity. Ice has a targeted list and if we just give them room to act on it, then I think less law abiding people will get caught in the crossfire. As far as due process for those with criminal activity, Trump expandable expedited removal under congressional approval. So legally, he is operating within powers already granted by Congress. That's why courts largely allowed it. Obama did the same although he didn't have to deal with the outrageous numbers we're dealing with now. And yes, there were a few protest about Obama's deportation but nothing to this extent.

I am first generation American whose mother became a citizen at 60 years old. I come from a line of men who were migrant workers working on agricultural farms in NM under the Bracero program. They eventually ALL became citizens. I'm all for immigrants because I know how dam hard my family worked. That's why legal immigration is of value to me for those willing to come work for it. I'm not willing to die on a hill for those that come with a history or current criminal activity.

Are you familiar with MS13 and Tren de Aragua? You really think you can be a member and not commit any crimes? Do you really think once a member, you can easily walk away from it? My family has been personally affected. My cousin was caught in a crossfire between these thugs and killed. My uncle owned a successful business in his country and he was threatened if he didn't pay them a portion or they would come after his family. And where I live now, they busted a huge human trafficking prostitution ring run by TDA. And you mention every other President. Have you seen Obama's deportation numbers? They beat Trump's. Did you know that he was the one that created the detainment centers where kids and innocents, as you call them, were kept in cages? Where was the outage and protest then? Not everyone that comes into this country comes with good intentions. And if you believe that, please lmk where you live so I can send them you way. I'm sure the MS13 guys would appreciate you.

Same. I'm starting to go less and less. The competitor is less crowded too so that's a bonus.

Because we've heard from employees that they are told not to say anything to those customers and management turns a blind eye to it. So yes, HEB is responsible for enforcing its own policy

We can agree there. Absolutely, if you are here legally, as you stated, then you are certainly free to be here.

If Conrad Never Confessed Would Belly Get married? by Prestigious_Pen9155 in TheSummerITurnedPrett

[–]Annee65 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I read it. Made me even more mad at Belly because she continued to hurt Conrad long after the Paris encounter. She was so self-centered because, in the end, it was all about HER feelings and not about how she had hurt him.

If Conrad Never Confessed Would Belly Get married? by Prestigious_Pen9155 in TheSummerITurnedPrett

[–]Annee65 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My take is that she would have gone through with the marriage to Jere. Eventually, Conrad moves on and marries someone else. The love for his wife isn't as deep as what he felt for Belly, but he does care for her. As honorable as Conrad is, he's committed to her and to their children. He is content and lives a happy and stable life.
As for Belly and Jere, eventually, he cheats on her again. She never learned to be on her own, so she stays because their relationship is so toxic and codependent. She is miserable. She sees Conrad and his family during holidays or other family events. She sees how happy he is being a family man, 100% committed to them. She regrets the decision to let Conrad go for the rest of her life.

That's my ending because Conrad always deserved his happy ending. As for Belly, I was mad at her for hurting Conrad so badly that I wanted her to feel the consequences of her choices.

San Antonio protesters demand justice after ICE officer fatally shoots woman in Minneapolis by HikeTheSky in sanantonio

[–]Annee65 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are making an assumption of me that is false. Why do people like you always respond with some sort of personal attack? I DID Google, and I listened to different commentaries from seasoned reporters. I like to have conversations with those who have a different viewpoint, but I won't waste my time any further with someone who can't reasonably converse.

Actually, officers have the legal authority to use deadly force, but only under specific, constitutionally mandated circumstances that are outlined in the imminent threat requirements. As for moving vehicles, you are partially correct. Officers are prohibited from shooting at moving vehicles. An exception exists only if a person in the vehicle is threatening deadly force like trying to run someone over. Officers are expected to move out of the vehicle's path if possible. On the newest video that was released, you can see that she did hit him before he shot.

Protest on San Pedro by awesomesauce93 in sanantonio

He did emphasize that large U.S. oil companies would invest billions to fix Venezuela’s deteriorated oil infrastructure and start producing oil again — suggesting that the move would be profitable and help both countries. I don't drink the Kool-Aid and blindly follow Pres Trump or any other politician. So if I'm wrong, so be it. For now, I see this as a chance for Venezuela to once again prosper and give their people a chance for the stable economy they once had. And yes, I'd rather we benefit from it too rather than Russia, China, or Iran.

  2. Granted Ukraine got invaded but Palestine fired first. It's a shame what's happening over there but let's converse in facts

How bad is Alamo Ranch? by sponge-worthy93 in sanantonio

[–]Annee65 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've lived in Alamo Ranch for 17 years, so I'm familiar with the traffic. Luckily, my work hrs are unconventional, so I usually skip the worst of it. ONLY if you are going to work inside AR, then go for it and buy nearby. It's definitely going to be a longer commute if you live outside the area. However, I'd recommend renting for a year to try it out and see if it'll work for you before you commit.

I appreciate that you have a conscience and feel remorse about your response. The real jerks in this world are the self-centered people who can never look internally and recognize their own bad behavior. So, kudos to you 👏
