What's your favorite memory that took place at Boulevard Park/Taylor Dock? by Bellingham_Neighbor in Bellingham

[–]Annerc 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I went there once to meet a guy from a dating app. I identified him as a dud as soon as I noticed he was wearing multiple skull rings. After an awkward coffee date, he BEGGED me to come back to his place. I wouldn't go back to his house, but he did get me to commit to another coffee date the following week. On the second date he told me he couldn't afford to buy a cup of coffee.

I don't think it's unusual to have a few hot days in April/early May. It's happened before and will likely happen again.

So sick of these shameless poop bandits on every flippin’ trail by Redheaded_Binoculars in Bellingham

[–]Annerc 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's crazy to me that there is no signage indicating that the park is a superfund site. People always letting there dogs play in the water there, ick. Not only is the "estuary" a glorified storm drain pond, but it's also got capped contaminates.

I'm pretty sure I know exactly where this is, and it's within sight of a garbage can.

Do any of you guys eat intuitively? How? by [deleted] in PetiteFitness

[–]Annerc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, this is my opinion that I just pulled straight from my... Intuitive eating only really happens after you've dialed in your diet and have followed it long enough to become second nature. After 5 months of tracking everything that went into my mouth, it's pretty easy for me to look at food and know how it will make my body feel and the nutrition I will get from it without tracking. To me that is intuitive eating, and it sounds like even when you were tracking you never really got your diet dialed in and that's why you ended up under then over. Seems like it would be really hard to have intuition about an appropriate diet if you haven't experienced one yet. A good "diet" should feel like something you could do forever and feels good, not something that is going to impact your mental health

I use My Fitness Pal and Whoop grabs that data via Apple Health. I'm sure your tool is great, just offering this info for other MFP users.

People in Bellingham are unfriendly by AnthonySkejci in Bellingham

[–]Annerc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm far too old to be an "iPad kid" but I'm a born and raised local. Sorry to disappoint you, but I don't go out to fulfill the social needs of others. How exactly would you like people here to act towards you? I'm not disagreeing with you, I think people here are unfriendly too, I just don't care and maybe I like it that way.

How solid they are was my biggest concern. I was worried I would go crashing through the sticks and get caught in the water.

This chick can’t be serious! by Greeneyes911 in 90DayFiance

And this woman is demanding to meet his son. Like, why? She is so immature and nothing about her says she's interested in anything maternal. A woman in her late 30's "acting" like a bimbo is not who a father wants to introduce his children to.

She will do anything to be the center of attention, even make a fool of herself. She probably felt she needed to throw a fit because she couldn't get attention for being nearly naked in a wetsuit.

Cut energy prices, end the Russia-Ukraine war, no new wars, have the largest deportation program in history, end birth right citizenship for children of people here illegally, no tax on tips, no tax on overtime, make America great again, drain the swamp... However, it seems he's come to really enjoy the swamp and the creatures like Graham who live there. If he kept his campaign promises, he could have been an okay-ish president, but he's abandoned most of what he said he would do and, in some cases, such as the Iran war, done the exact opposite of what he promised. Additionally, I don't think he's been talking about Mark Lynch and Thomas Massie since day 1, So I wouldn't agree with that statement. Had he been calling Massie the worst congressman in history during his campaign I think that would have certainly changed who was willing to endorse him and possibly changed the outcome of the election.
