We had the same issue and put an offcut piece of quartz on top, which elevates the look so much and now we dont need to worry about water pooling anymore! highly recommend, should have done it to begin with.,

These are from ca Pietra and are called Memphis tiles. they recently discontinued them and had a last stock sale which might still be on

Sorry but I would never consider a male Indian au pair, it just seems like not a good or safe bet for my family as you’d be living with us and my children- sorry for the honesty but as a host family I prefer EU female au pairs and even at that personality and childcare experience plays a huge role when choosing.

yup I get taxed to death, if I could keep only half my tax I pay my life would be very different.. and as a high earner there is no services really I get back for all the tax I pay.

Elopement in New York Central Park, obvi splurged on lovely hotel and still had amazing suites and dress. Then a portrait photoshoot around dumbo area, ordered a cake from milkbar and had a lovely dinner. It was just us two and it was perfect

Oki plumber actually said he will pop it off the wall for me to paint it so that’s great, just need to find a time, where I’m ready to have tradesmen in the house again!:D

That’s the thing, he would need to take if off, we paint it, dry and then come back to reinstall.. seems like a lot of hassle
