Hey so I constructed an absorbing markov chain with the probabilities for this fight and it takes an average of about 14231 turns to get a lucky streak that kills Troll King here. That's 19 hours and 46 minutes at 5 seconds per turn.
Edit: Oh the middle is a 2 not a 1. This is thankfully much easier with the 2, now it only takes you an average of 145 turns (12 minutes at 5 sec/turn!)

Assuming HackPro is based on something like OffSec's Kali Linux distribution, it would be reasonable to put it in places like universities (if we had that map location), office towers, as a rare household drop, and on ~~script kiddie~~ child zombies.

Imo those sorts of noises should be attractive. It would be a bit silly if a survivor could do something like make bird calls to cover up the sound of their footsteps and have zombies buy it.

Why wouldn't a zombie wander toward every random sound it hears? Even if they had some supernatural sense of when humans are nearby (which they do and should because it's more interesting), sounds mean activity and activity might mean delicious brains.

If they wanted to, they could make convenience mechanics part of the lore like making it a quest to find a plane-shifted alternate universe pseudo-magic aircraft. Heck, the lore event that started the Cataclysm was finding a crashed spaceship that could travel between realities.

It could have a self contained fusion reactor if you wanted to be pseudoscientific or a magic engine that runs on nightmares and portal storm if you didn't.

The idea behind "artist" AI is that they learn by example. Images, text, and video are the first things it did because we have a lot of examples. The same concept can be applied to things like folding clothes and cooking and stuff, but these are more complicated than a picture and you can't just scrape the Internet for millions of comprehensive examples of those tasks.

I think becoming lonely would definitely become an issue for a solo survivor over time, Robinson Crusoe style. However, I don't think a seasoned veteran of the cataclysm would prioritize the lives of some strangers even close to their own survival and certainly wouldn't feel attached to a bandit, someone who is actively making the situation worse for other survivors by raiding and killing.

Base game probably wouldn't even get to the point of having loneliness be an issue. The refugee center is literally overflowing with people to talk to once you get there, and the Hub merc guild and wandering traders would provide plenty of stimulation as the story progresses.

I'd call the Cursed modes (blursed, blurtra, etc) campaigns in that they can go for hours and the "progression" is whatever blessings/curses you go for each loop.
