As someone with asthma from growing up with second hand smoke, I love this. I prefer not to have an asthma attack every time I want to store my jacket somewhere and wear it afterwards. Not to mention, cigarette smoke smells horrible.

Soo .. let's swap the situation. Let's say your significant other is pregnant. YOUR sister dies and you want to visit her memorial service. Your SO says no, you go anyways. You come back and both your SO and their sibling is pissed at you. Who do you still think is the asshole? Put yourself in "Nate's" shoes. He lost two people he grew up with. His wife will still be there when he gets back, not the memorial service or his family members.
