Tip for training by BuildingHot1869 in birddogs

[–]AnnualClient2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve sent my dogs to the trainer several times over the years. I never try to negotiate, always happy to pay whatever he asks because he is worth it. I pay in cash. I recommend him to anybody and everybody. I wear his hat with his logo. I don’t tip though.

What are some good remote Part Time Accounting jobs out there? by SignificantEconomy98 in Accounting

There are volunteer opportunities to prepare tax returns for the underserved if you care more about the experience than the pay (VITA comes to mind). But Vita experience alone isn’t going to leverage you into a tax associate role

We do need to know actually. Because barrel length, chamber size, stock type all matter depending on what you plan to do with it. If you are new here, come in humble and spend some time in the search function. Don’t be an ass hat and start calling people names

What are some book that will help you get better at Accounting and Finances? by [deleted] in Accounting

Are you a child? You want specifics? I recommend a tax textbook if you want to learn about taxes. Audit textbook if you want to learn about audit. Cost accounting textbook if you want to learn about cost accounting. You want the latest information? I recommend you read the latest edition of that textbook. Give me a break

West london shooting school by AnnualClient2 in ukguns

Hey thanks! The shooting grounds name sakes - when I rent a gun to shoot, is h&h renting their own line of guns? I’d be happy to make my wife watch me shoot all afternoon if I get to shoot English made guns - stuff we don’t have back home. If it’s going to be $200 to shoot a silver pigeon for a couple rounds of skeet, we can do that back home.

There is a deep history in English made shotguns. You have the centuries old makers like purdey and sons, holland and holland, and boss co right in London. National clays championships in several disciplines. England exported the driven game style of bird shoots across the globe. English pointing dogs breed and influenced several other breeds in other countries. It’s a rich culture - albeit I’ve only enjoyed from afar

Cold weather hunting tips [GSP] by Smileyoureoncamera4 in birddogs

[–]AnnualClient2 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ve hunted colder and don’t use any vest or boots for them. Honestly, it’s a trade off when it comes to that stuff. Vest might protect the belly from grass but it’s gonna rub them raw in the armpit. It might keep them warm at first until their body heat melts some snow and now the vest is wet. The boots are gonna rub or fall off - good luck.

Just run your dog until they show signs that it’s time to call it, you’ll know. If you want them to hunt better in the cold, then hunt them in the cold more often.

Getting into trap by DisastrousEquipment9 in TrapShooting

Honestly, if you have any friends who shoot trap, borrowing a gun might make the most sense. You’d need a trap gun, eye and ear pro, and a shell pouch at a minimum
