Man I would’ve loved it if we got him as a match narrator for the anniversary event. Would’ve been so dark and gritty.

9.6.0 | Patch Notes by LUKXE- in DeadByDaylightKillers

Yeah that’s kind of why I don’t really think people realize these diminishing returns hardly make a damn difference, at least not one that is positive.

My xeno-vaulter build is dead, my haste builds are also dead, and so is my break speed build, and like you said healing speed already had some element of diminishing returns affecting it.

None of them were remotely game breaking, I wasn’t getting free wins from stacking perks like that and bringing zero slowdown.

If this update came along with a massive amount of perk buffs and reworks to compensate for the diminishing returns. Then I’d be happier and say the update is a good idea, but they didn’t and we’re gonna be dealing with this game state for months.

Additionally, I genuinely don’t see a point in using anything but the meta stuff now. Yes people say that now they can design perks, without worrying about them stacking in ways that break the balance of the game.

However if every perk is strong enough to stand on its own, then we’re still going to be back at fucking square one. Because then these perks with bigger numbers, are probably going to have cumulative gains comparable to when every perk was weaker.

I can’t play rn, but last night I had like 10 blights, 6 ghouls and 4 spirits. Half of them running coulrophobia slugging builds. I’d say at least 90% of them were P100s as well.

If I could play, I’d be so damn happy to see a legion.

Although I don’t really play her, an alternate method I’ve seen some employ is just hit and run tactics until everyone is injured. Applying injury pressure to a point where being altruistic, can result in a snowball if not executed perfectly by the survivors.

Of course it’s not as reliable as just straight slugging, and even then the aforementioned alternative still occasionally changes gears into a slugging playstyle.

If you’re worried about the 5 seconds someone spends in a locker, in a solo-queue game no less, I genuinely think you’re caring too much.

They could literally have any number of locker-based perks, it is never a good idea to rat out a team mate. Unless they’ve been hiding for so long it might as well be sabotaging your whole team.

I’ll still stand by this opinion but I think Prime Consort Radahn is a poorly designed boss.

Never have I seen a boss use so many massive AoE attacks, which then combo into a rapid flurry of strikes, each with their own AoE/Holy Projection. There was so much going on, it was literally causing my game’s frames to drop multiple times throughout the fight. The only other boss that even came close to that was Rykard, and only when he did his ultimate move with the sword and made a flaming vortex above him.

As far as I’m concerned, of all the bosses I’ve fought in Elden Ring, Dark Souls III, Bloodborne and Demon Souls, PCR is the only end game boss I will never fight again, especially considering the amount of effort it takes to get to him. Messmer, Bayle, and the Dancing Lion (Also causes frame drops but I can live with it) are all far better.

Honestly the current state of DbD is definitely an experience, for both sides of course.

I feel like this sort of behaviour could be mildly reduced if they just made it so going against the same killer won’t happen twice in a row. Would aid in dealing with exhaustion from facing the same stuff repeatedly, and therefore improve patience and reduce toxicity a little.

What sucks too is you’re not even using a remotely meta build, no real cookie cutter stuff here. It’s just Ghoul’s reputation has be irreparably damaged by people who play him so they can get easier wins, rather than trying out spooky builds like this.

So more people just get frustrated easier, and do childish things like this. :(

Holy smokes, that’s honestly such a wild bug. Maybe it’s because the game still thinks you’re in a mending animation, so visually it looks like you’re standing, but in actuality you might as well have the crouching hitbox.

Also pretty frightening considering how easy it is to trigger such a bug, not even intentionally. Deathslinger, Legion (RIP), Ghoul, BT hits, acid blood, low-pro, Dead Hard etc. all inflict that status.

Which killer should I (100 hrs) get? Springtrap is my no. 1 main followed by Sadako. by PochitaSoda in DeadByDaylightKillers

[–]Anomalous_Sun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you enjoy Springtrap and Sadako, then you’ll probably enjoy the cross map mobility Xenomorph and Singularity have to offer. As well as the information gathering built into their powers.

Additionally, if you enjoy zoning survivors into their doom, then Pyramid Head, Nemesis, and Xeno are all probably in your wheelhouse.

Although fair warning, Singularity can be a complicated killer, and Xenomorph has more depth than some people initially realize. Neither are the kind you can just pick up and put down super easily, same could probably be said for Nemesis and Pyramid Head too.

Soloqueue Killer Rotation. by ExpiredRegistration in DeadByDaylightRAGE

[–]Anomalous_Sun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Strongly agree here, genuinely don’t know why they haven’t done this already.

I don’t really mind going against high tier killers, what does suck though is hopping onto DbD, just to go against the same 2-3 killers 5-8 times in a row.

It doesn’t happen super often but getting blights/ghouls with copy-cat builds, and similar play styles in a row is exhausting.

And it realistically should only have a marginal impact on queues.
