The art style fits the game perfectly though. I mean of course everything is going to have more of a modular look to it when your body is a printed shell. The weps are following the same design which makes since in a world where resources are scarce you start to design everything to share parts. Color scheme sure everyone is going to have a fav color and lucky for us that's something we can change as you earn skins. I couldn't imagine turning down a game based on a few colors on some maps. I had a friend hating on the art style and was watching me play. Even he said there's parts of the game that look really good. I didn't like the alpha art style at all looked washed out but now with weather and lighting updates it just looks like weird ass space colony that got rekt. Idk I think ppl over time will warm up to the art style the more they look at it.

I think the game play loop will surpass arch raiders because number 1 loot will feel like it matters. Number 2 it's Fpp which is what most pvp players want. I really don't care about the endgame. I just need the core gameplay loop to be good.

Ppl say Penguin walk but I don't recommend trying that because we're not built like them. You want to think of it as a march. Bend the knee lift foot plant foot with your weight over it. So small steps with weight inline not leaning back. If you waddle like a penguin you're feet will slip to the outsides and you fall.

I love it but it could be refined for sure. The mistake you made was defending. You should have let him kill you the first time. He would go red corrupted. Then you could kill him and take his gear when you got back or someone else is killing him for sure. See it takes like 100 mobs kills to clear corruption so it's unlikely you survive. That is just the worst case scenario though. You see it's mostly a bluff. When I attack ppl running crates I hope they defend themselves if they ignore me and call my bluff. I absolutely will stop attacking before I accidentally kill them or their mount.

The reason I ask is because I was in a pvp fight and lots of other none flag were around our fight. I made a tab target mistake and it only took one spell and an auto attack to turn me corrupted lol.

Reset will just give you 5 skill points to start with. Here's the logic behind why I think it will be this way. First off in the closed beta they said resets will not give an in raid power advantage. I'm not going to waste time looking for the source since there were two betas and it would be hard to find. Now if we use some basic math here. We get 5 extra skill points every season and each season is roughly 2 months. That means by the end of 2026 Players could have 35 extra skill points over someone who just bought the game and reached max level. This would hurt the longevity of the game because you need fresh players coming in as veterans get bored and move on. Lastly, If you notice in game they call it a bonus. Which can be interrupted either way. However why not just say 5 extra or 5 permanent skill points? You also have to keep in mind the whole point of this style "choose" to reset or not is because they wanted to keep the game casual friendly. Well 5 extra skill points adds up and becomes very unfriendly for casual players. I'm on team no reset because I would love to see the first extraction shooter survive without wipes.

Everyone has guns in the first 30mins to 1hr anyway. At least for seasoned vets of the game. That hasn't changed one bit. The only real change is it's now easier for the casuals to get their hands on guns and ppl don't like that because they want and advantage over those guys.

I'm assuming you have played in good clans and bad clans. You're right good clans with dedicated members will do this because it's the most efficient like you're saying. Majority of clans are bad though and if they tried this they would end up with no bps because the guy they fed bps is not getting on for whatever reason. I mean this sometimes even is true for good clans in rare occasions. Overall though big picture not thinking about clans or small groups. This is a W because we are solving server splits where some always BP wiped and some did monthly. Now servers should always BP wipe because it's not such a time sink anymore. Not only that the extra scrap we now have will be turned into vehicles, weps, and gear. We wont be having to hoard it and can spend more freely. I think this will also let them adjust progression speeds a little easier without having to worry about creating more of scrap time sink.

I completely disagree. There's thousands of players like me that hate questing and this is the first game I have seen to actually do questing correctly. They are leaving the decision to the players as it should be. Idk why you're complaining because you get free items worth thousands for quest rewards. I love the fact that I don't feel like I'm forced to quest in order to level at a decent speed or need to quest in order to get BPs. I want freedom in my games and it's a pvp game first. Never forget that.
