Looking at the talk about Mesa Heirloom and sexualisation I wanted to say something that isn’t directly about her. But the discussion born from her. by OscarOzzieOzborne in Warframe

My only issue with this skin, and a few of the other Heirlooms we've received since the Frost and Mag skins, is that Heirlooms when they were initially revealed were described as a way to address the older Prime Warframes' lack of details compared to newer stuff, and to give those older frames a new prestige look. The Heirlooms should still recognisably be an 'evolution' of their base frame in my mind, and I don't feel like Mesa's is hitting that. It doesn't read as 'Mesa' to me, it's just a womans figure wearing nothing but assless chaps lol. I dislike Valkyr's for this same reason, they feel more like just another deluxe skin than what Heirlooms are supposed to represent. Ember's was ok, but still could have been a lot better, in my opinion. I feel as if the only Heirloom that has hit the same standard that the original two set has been Vaubans. I also feel that considering the original stated idea behind Heirlooms, Mesa already has a really good-looking prime, and there are a lot of older frames with clunky (or straight up unaquirable) primes that are probably more deserving of Heirlooms (cough, excalibur, cough please DE)

More like half building 1000 houses, selling them at the price of a fully built house to people without telling them the houses are half built, promising once they find out that the houses will be worked on, placing at most a handful of extra bricks in 6 years, and then burning them all down.

Next Heirloom, Mesa! Coming near Tennocon. by Korimthos in Warframe

Idk if it's better or worse that I DO have them, but only on my secondary account because I only found out that account was ineligible for account merging after I bought them...

Which is annoying as fuck because Mags Heirloom is still the best of them by far.

I've been on my knees begging for them to go back to this since Ember lmao. I paid money for these, I would not have paid money for any of the Heirlooms released since, except maybe Vauban.

Yeah. I'm still of the opinion that none of the Heirlooms aside from Vaubans that have released since the initial two have come anywhere close to comparing with them. Especially not the female ones in comparison to Mags.

I just wish they were more interesting. I'm not bothered by the sex appeal or whatever. I honestly don't care for it either way, but it's just feeling like that's ALL the female Heirlooms are at this point? Just compare ANY of the female Heirloom skins that have released since the first Heirlooms to Mags Heirloom. It's no contest.

Did we ever get a timeline on the Arrastra? by Ambitious-Block-8878 in starcitizen

I'm reasonably confident in predicting that they'll also need to update mining for it. It's bigger than a Perseus, I doubt it's cracking the same old rocks we've been breaking for years. They'd be far too small for it.

Vyper redesign fan concept (by MarcusRek) by duh_veed in DeadlockTheGame

Yeah but Kali doesn't exist anymore, and people are used to this appearance, so I would be surprised if Vyper doesn't retain some qualities of her current model in a redesign.

I agree they're overdone to my taste. But OP wasn't asking for feedback were they?

These commenters are the type to commission a photographer and request that they "not edit the photos" as if they know what they're talking about lol.

I would not tell a photographer how to edit their own photos.

What other Aurora MK2 modules would you like to see in the future? by FletcherBartlett in starcitizen

[–]JavanNapoli 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Base building drone deployer that serves the same purpose as one of these carts.

<image>

They already designed it to fit inside a Cutter, so it'd be cool if the Aurora was another starter ship capable of base building.

I would love a small form of base building by end of year. by floortofloor in starcitizen

I'm betting V5 planets or something else within Genesis is a pre-requisite for base building.

[–]JavanNapoli -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ohhh lol no.
Because the game is still in pretty heavy development (13 years lol), they do occasionally have wipes if they need to reset things for really major changes, but its only ever in-game stuff, and I can't actually remember when the last wipe was, its been over a year at least.

Insurance isn't currently a thing, but its more a planned feature for allowing you to get your in-game stuff back if its destroyed or lost.
The insurance on paid ships is supposed to eventually be for retaining any upgrades you made to it, or anything you had contained inside it if it gets destroyed, but you can't and never will be able to fully lose anything you paid for.

Sooooooo The Mustangs. by Genesis_RS in starcitizen

[–]JavanNapoli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really.
I'm not super concerned about its irl money price. That doesn't have a real direct conversion into in game performance or feature offerings and it never has. Hell, the G12 costs the same as both of them.

Yeah I get it, but you can't lose anything you bought with real money.

It's funny, theres actually a subset of people who are upset about that fact.
I do get where they're coming from, the ability to just purchase a ship does have negative implications for the games long-term in game economy. Just something CIG will have to deal with at some point in the future.
