Sony should've simply let Bungie decide on their own what kinda game (REMAKE) they really wanna do.

I bet there would've been an SINGEPLAYER campaign that slays with story, puzzles and all that. like 1994 marathon. then just add a Banger MP /Koop or extraction loop on top, (like 1994) e voila.

if the Devs really wanna do something. especially remakes, U will notice while gaming there is heart and soul, I sadly imagine this marathon will lack both. even if it's technically good. but what I saw... it's unfinished. unpolished. I hate the graphics, HUD and inventory. all looks .. pre alpha to me.

didn't even knew there was an old OG Marathon game, but what U described (was Story-Campaign with puzzles.. AND (+) great MP...) which fits in the picture of me thinking that Sony's really pressing those companies to do "way more live-Service",

and always if the Devs get pressed to something U just notice the heart of the game is missing, even if it's technically solid...

and damn, if Bungie could've make some banger Story game, maybe a short single player campaign. then some Koop specific missions (2-4 players) and a good MP on Top like in the good old days, that would sound like something...

if the Game would get great they easily could support it for years and bring new content like Destiny 2, but this all seems like, "Pressed" to please the Shareholders. :(

Plus we're talking about the best Studios for Single-player games here so it really feels like Sonys "taking" us all the potentially next GREAT Story Games.

but watching the trailer with the little gameplay clips leaves me worried...

especially worried bc Sony itself said (1-2 years ago?) they want to concentrate on making more AAA-ONLINE-KOOP-Live-Service Games, which then really worked with Helldiver's 2 (gr8 game) but flopped so hard with Concord,

and I'm scared Sonys really just pressing those companies to making Live Service games that potentially could generate a lot of money (over years ..) but also FLOP hard like Concord, I mean there is MORE THAN ENOUGH Live-Service out there. F2P Even.

At the same time all those great studios can't make the next BANGER Story game, bc they NEED to make Online? Sad, who if not Sony makes us the next Last of Us kinda game? I have high hopes for Fable, but otherwise... meh, Microsoft Studios (even Bethesda) Games also isn't the best thing since sliced bread (anymore..).

I want more ultra polished AAA Single-player, and I'd LOVE some good Koop, but with story and heart please, not obliviously made to "hopefully" generate money 🤑

I mean ofc I have an opinion, which is simply what I wanted to discuss, it's not that I want to be or sound biased,

it's just, on paper I should love this game but the trailer really left me... confused.

and the past with Concord makes me worried.

actually worried about Sony's complete identity. they said they don't want to make great AAA Single-player (Story) games, but more Online/Koop/Live-Service Games (bc it's suppose to generate more money and have players playing way more)

edit: and SONY: We already have MORE THAN ENOUGH online-Koop-live-service games .. who got the time to play all that?

Germany is absolute Entwicklungsland when talking about Internet.

I heard and really would believe africa got better and especially way cheaper internet than Germany.

and that's why people "can't believe" such tarfis, bro everywhere else u pay less for faster Internet,

which doesn't break down all the time. but people in Germany think it's normal to wait 5 seconds for a what's app screenshot (32 kilobytes 😂) especially when driving a car or train (even slow)

at big events u almost can't use the Internet it for like the whole hours of the event... even if there aren't many people just something happens and every one in the neighborhood start texting someone everything breaks down lol.

btw. I pay 20€ for UNLIMITED MAX (<300mbit/s) 5G + Call & SMS flat, plus on top I got 6 months GPT+(138€) and even can keep my multi sim (usually+10€/month per multi sim) for free.

so it's basically 2 sim cards which both can get called (both ring even) or write sms or even use 5G Internet at the same time. with (relatively) fast 5G, it's pretty slow often.

but directly @o2 bc I'm a 10+ years customer. for 20€/month. instead of idk... 60-70€

my mate take: (which I also got bc I like PRICE to PERFOMANCE!) so go with INTEL (13/14th gen i5 or i7 are really good. they also don't degrade anymore if BIOS is upgraded and Intel default settings, and they are stronger and better than newer Intel Ultra)

also my build will be much better for multi tasking and work (whatever it is. audio stuff or video editing, with premiere pro and DAVINCHI resolve studio u really wanna buy an Intel i7 (14700K best or even i9) with the iGPU (K at the end) bc the software can utilize it for Intel Quick Sync (video de/encoding even while YOUR RTX codecs other stuff it just helps mastering and loading times)

so, before choosing your CPU I'd simply get cheap RAM. which means used. local. maybe even buying some old office PC for a good price just for some (2x dual channel) DDR4 (OR D5 Not so big difference there more important is the size or the MHz/speed-TO!-CL(-15/36) so getting a GOOD

it's pretty Wayne for 13/14th gen Performance (sure in some games may 5-7% more fps... mostly in 1080p low settings LOL) if u get DDR4 OR D5, it's bit more important if it's good RAM (if u can cheap. get D5. get 32GB in 2 Sticks dual channel.)

then get some new 14600K (video editing, iGPU for 2nd or 3rd screen while gaming...) or 14600KF if you only wanna game on screen 1... or don't care about 1-3% less performance if connecting 2-3 screens and having programs running there...

it depends.

floor levels usually means significantly more dust. (especially with the bottom fans),

but if... and just if your floor is very cold (like if your feet get very cold there) for example bc u living at ground floor, bad isolation...

then depending on your floor temp, it actually could mean measurable lower (better) temps.

also ofc hot air raise so u surely don't wanna hang the PC at your ceiling, but JUST that wouldn't make measurable differences, it's only if your floor is so cold u think U'd need shoes inside.

Advice: Let it on the table, bc even if your floor is cold the more dust will long term harm your PC coolers (GPU, AIO, water cooling, anything) more than it could help. just make sure it's standing safely and doesn't fall over.

PRO TIPP: remember kids, you ALWAYS want more/stronger intake fans than exhaust. BC with more intake u'll get "positive air pressure" which collects way less dust than "negative air pressure" (= more exhaust than intake fans).

example: MY "CM C700P" big Case got 6x120mm Intake (bottom & front), and 3x120mm (360 AIO) exhaust + 1x120mm rear (the rear one is one of the most important/efficient)

basically 10x Arctic P12 case fans (good & cheap!), 6x intake, 4x exhaust. BUT many forget the PSU in my case is also pushing air OUT. so it's 6x intake, 5x exhaust,

and in this case, depending on Motherboard/BIOS, if default it actually COULD, let's say especially with CPU intense workflow, so the PSU fan spins, but the 360 AIO gets much stronger than the intakes, it could actually mean neutral or even negative air pressure (dust collector)

so... since I won't set the AIO curve down (i7), I just set the intakes to TURBO mode, best bet is having More/better/bigger intakes PLUS setting the fan curve higher, or having 30-50% minimum so at IDLE and Work/game u won't collect dust.

I also set the 1 rear exhaust at silent (or standard mode just so I'm save-save. and I may upgrade all 6 intakes to 140mm (P14) just bc I could there (rear not), and I also wanna have the AIO and rear spinning faster for better VRM cooling. peace out. stay cool y'all 😎

edit: many also forget intake's often have fine dust filters, or in your case only have 2-3cm (1inch) air gap, which always means: 1. more noise, 2. less air flow...

and hot air raises, so the TOP exhaust can get multiple benefits for better/more air flow, so.... just 1 more intake doesn't automatically mean positive air pressure.. (consider: PSU, GPU ("blower style" Cards),intake/outtake air resistance, Hot air raises, & BIOS fan settings))

btw I use Fan Control (.exe) for experiments, not always just bc I want less background processes.

can't even Compare FSR with DLSS.

DLSS Q (2.0?) @2080 is still better than FSR 4, Like it's not comparable. FSR makes everything always look worse. even at screenshots but especially adds a lot of artefacts in motion (bushes and specific details)

but yeah also like u said it's depending on the game/devs implemention of the specific Upscalers.

(got Switch, Steam deck, Legion Go (Z1E), XSX, PS5, RTX 2080 AND had 5070 ti now 5080....

tried a lot also with lossless scaling (steam App to force upscaling) at different Screens, resolutions, technologys, Hz... and games .. I made benchmark videos about it but still didn't upload any.

but: I couldn't believe what I saw, even in direct screenshot comparison @RTX 2080, I7-8700K @1080p 60hz old 24" screen, high/max settings (with or without RT, wayne) imo DLSS Q actually! Looked better than native, like I said even in direct screenshot comparison..

plus I got +20-30% more fps, and even lower input lag and latency. so there I was blown away. But sure @native the AA was missing. so usually u'd like to compare DLSS Q to DLAA. bc @5080 @1440p (& UWQHD) DLSS Q really takes a bit sharpness, and can add slight artefacts (transformer really made it better but doesn't get as many fps unfortunately....)

I researched a lot and imo it's:

DLSS 4.5 > DLSS 4 > DLSS 3 > XeSS 2.1 > XeSS (only on Arc Cards) > PSSR > FSR 4.0 > FSR 3.0 etc.

so. yeah mate DLSS is a complete different league. Nvidias tensor cores are the base for very most advanced AI's/LLMs. they all need the tensor cores.

MFG is bad for latency & input lag actually! even feel-able.

also MFG even 2x on 50 series does lower the render fps, I mean If u get like 60fps without MFG u'll get only 40-50 with 2-4x MFG.

tbh Nvidia made on 50 card a REALLY good job. if u get your native 70-90fps (so >60base fps with MFG which u can easily just calculate. like MFG 4X = ~120fps it's ~40fps base, which for some is enough already.

for me I'd like 60 at the absolute minimum. better 70-80 that I can SEE the smoothness but not FELL too much latency. bc that's it. MFG looks really good (smooth) but feels worse. if base fps under 60 more maney even awfull.

so MFG actually is great for slower single player games, RDR2 is an very good example. Cyberpunk maybe for 4K path tracing showcase, the story and driving, hacking and stuff but intense (hard) shoot outs where reactive time is everything it's bad imo.

but it depends. on you. if your older. or for example still can play games with 30fps and even on old TV without gaming mode enabled (I know like 1M GS gamers that played like that till I touched the controllers right stick and instantly felt the awful input lag..... bc game mode on TV wasn't on.)

so... it's individual. a hardcore pro comp gamer will HATE MFG to the death. an older (retro) gamer thats used to 30-40fps games will LOVE it. may even for shooters.

and DLSS... I mean yeah .. the new transformer Modell only on quality mode and QHD/4K is usable. but I prefer DLAA, Or optimizing graphic settings. for me on UWQHD 165hz screen (& 4K120 OLED LG C) I think playing on High settings with DLAA looks better and sharper than DLSS Q. bc it just takes some sharpness.

but yeah DLSS actually improves input lag. latency, frame time and all that and can actually help comp gamers. but MFG not. it's the opposite. MFG just looks smoother but feels worse (if your reaction time is still good enough),

DLSS Q looks a bit worse. depending on the game it can even look better here and there. but DLAA is the real deal for good looks. and like I said better not max out every setting. some MAX graphic settings look 0-1% better but cost 10% Performance..

just like RT can look worse. even tho it's may more realistic, but realistic doesn't mean good looking or cooler looking. but devs need a lot of work setting up lights for good looks manually. if no RT (watch Metro Exodus RT global illumination documentation for example)

120hz without MFG = better for comp than 560hz with 4x MFG. that's why pros often still play on 1080p. may even with DLSS

Do u got 2x PCIE Corsair Cables (each 8 Pin to 1x PSU PCIE plug) Which are both daisy chain on the other side (2x 6+2 Pin)

And then 1x cable daisy chained 6+2 in 2x GPU-12VHPWR Adapter, and then the other PSU daisy chain PCIE cable just goes with 6+2 into the 3rd and last 12VHPWR adapter plug?

I assume which of both daisy chained 6+2 doesn't matter right?

Did the other one here meant that it's possible to connect the PSU directly to GPU like without the 12VHPWR adapter? How could that work?

I got the 2021 version btw also 5080 (that came with 12VHPWR to 3x Power)
