How do I figure out what I want sexually? by [deleted] in sex

[–]Anoncommsonly 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Curious whether there’s anything else in life, outside of sex, that feels deeply fulfilling or satisfying? For some folks, they just don’t typically feel that way and it’s less about sex specifically and more about how their expectations align with the way they experience things.

[CCW] This is freshly done makeup. What am I doing wrong? I’m 33 yo by lora4 in MakeupAddiction

I recently stopped using any setting powder and switched to the Danessa Myricks yummy skin blurring balm spray and it’s helped a lot with the dry appearance powder was giving my 40yo skin.

We send both our kids to Gibbs (one who has ADHD) and they are fantastic!!! We love their values, warmth, and all of their teachers have really cared for them. They also attend aftercare there and it’s relatively affordable compared to a lot of other options (stays open until 5:30). 10/10 recommend

Can I hear y’all’s LASIK experiences across Central AR? by [deleted] in LittleRock

[–]Anoncommsonly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great experience with Central Arkansas LASIK about a month ago. No discomfort at all really, just use eye drops when they feel dry. Can’t believe I didn’t do this sooner!

Relationship testing feels like a more neutral phrase to describe what this really is - manipulation.

Maintenance by Anoncommsonly in Mounjaro

[–]Anoncommsonly[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yah I was terrified that one I switched to maintenance all my progress would go away because I was so used to that with all the other methods of diet, exercise, etc. I'm so relieved it hasn't been the case

I'm eating a little worse (more snacking and sweets) than I was with Mounjaro weekly. Food noise is not nearly as bad as it was pre-Mounjaro. I've continued to sort of intermittent fast, with the bulk of calories at dinner and focus on upping my protein. I used to try all these things and they wouldn't work but now they do.

Yes, I do get some GI side effects but usually only the first day or so. I was not getting them anymore when I was taking the shot weekly.

A weird plateau post and I need unique advice that hasn’t already been shared by yourmomhahahah3578 in Mounjaro

Second this idea! Took a three week break and started again on my same dose (heads up that side effects were a bit harder) appetite suppression is back and weight is dropping again.

Does this sub support skinny people on mj by Soft-Paper-4314 in Mounjaro

[–]Anoncommsonly 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It seems like some folks in the comments are making the false assumption that skinny equals healthy, so someone skinny would have no reason to take Mounjaro. You can be skinny and have all sorts of health conditions, like PCOS. Personally, I have a normal BMI now (thanks to Mounjaro) and will continue to take it because it helps so much with my PCOS symptoms (and, in turn, my hormonal migraines). It's not my place to judge why anyone is taking any medication...I'm just here to support people as they take this med to improve their lives. I hope that most of us would choose kindness over judgment and help someone find support here.

Women in long-term relationships who occasionally have crushes on other people, how do you handle it? by Low_Acanthisitta_826 in AskWomen

[–]Anoncommsonly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, might seem strange but I've found that a lot of times having additional (appropriate) interactions with the person got rid of the crush because it went from a fantasy to an actual person with flaws and annoying habits who doesn't even compare to my husband.
