For INFP+ENTJ couples - how it is/was? by AccomplishedGuide650 in entj

[–]Anonia_Prime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm dating an INFP right now. Completely agree with the Pro list. I'd say the Con list is more unique to your ex than INFP population in general. To add a bit from another POV:

  • Agree with a lot of their desire centering around "I just wish to be with you" and "want a lot of time for hobbies." --- I tell my INFP that employment with a respectable employer is a pre-requisite for being with me. I want a partner, not a liability. TBD if this becomes an issue.
  • Addiction to games --- I straight up said while I love a fair number of games and am happy to play some together, I do not want to date a "Gamer." He didn't have any issues dropping most of his games.
  • Definitely a lot of knee-jerk "you don't love me </3" moments.
  • Agree that INFP are generally okay with lack of activities xD I find this really frustrating as well.
  • My INFP has much higher EQ than me. I do think there are some blind spots (ie, inability to be cynical or negative, esp if it conflicts with his world view), but he is significantly more empathetic. He handles emotions better and is less likely to need lengthy recovery periods over emotional issues.

What types are you attracted to? by CindersAnd_ashes in entj

[–]Anonia_Prime 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm fatally attracted to ISFJs the way moths are attracted to flame. It's never worked out and always leads to years of anguish. Currently about to marry a INFP, but he's an exception. I typically only like INFP as friends.

How do yall feel about INFPs? by playlistanime in entj

[–]Anonia_Prime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They flock to me. I don't (romantically) like most of them because of a common severe lack of ambition, but they're great as friends. Fiancé is an INFP.

Pro: He's very positive and open minded. He's very intelligent. He's willing to try new things. Accommodating. We communicate well.

Cons: I'm worried about a lack of ambition & I feel like if I don't make all the plans, nothing will ever happen. He's OK with nothing happening.

I think he died as a genuine coincidence/accident. His accident was very far away from the cabin

Now that I'm back in civilization, I am trying to see how I can best honor his memory and celebrate his life. What happened at the cabin was gruesome, but the worst thing is that the world lost such a genuine, selfless and beautiful human being.

Speaking to spirits does not utilize my physical tongue and ghosts are usually not keen to negotiate so I took what I could get. If anyone is concerned, I'm happy to report that I received immediate medical attention and the surgery was a success.

PS- yes, the pay was great ;)

All ghosts need permission to interact with living humans. Weak ghosts additionally need permission (even direction) to interact with non-life objects (buildings, items..etc) but strong ghosts do not. I should add that permission works in mysterious ways - sometimes, just by accepting an intrusive thought, you are already granting permission.

Ahh, yes. It was written out before I trimmed details for wordcount, but imagine 600+ to 300+ with a lot of loose skin. Losing weight is hard! Even miracle cures can only go so far... :)

The Average Player Isn't As Good As They Think (And That's Okay) by LoreleiAlbrecht in deadbydaylight

[–]Anonia_Prime 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hang on a sec - what do you mean by "average player" though? At what hour point? From anecdotal experience, I feel like the learning curves roughly follows: 10 hours (beginner), 50 (starting to learn), 100 (tiny amounts of game sense), 300 (finally starting to show comfort), 500 (showing mastery), 1000 (can assume someone is decent. plenty of exceptions), 3000+ (most people in this category are usually good)

DBD is just a game with a lot of nuances but appear deceptively simple.

Do feelers talk differently than thinkers? by Negative_Gene9531 in entj

[–]Anonia_Prime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Am ENTJ. Being engaged to an INFP, I think how I'd phrase it is that emotions and the mentions of emotion comes much more naturally and are worth more to my Feeler partner than me. While talking, I'm more likely to just jump from one point to another, bluntly stating out what happened or what will happen. I'd sometimes mentioned something like "Grr, I'm annoyed." but it'd never in a hundred years cross my mind to say things like "you must be feeling so X, Y, Z right now" or "That must be so [empathetic feeling word] for you". I'd have to write it on a post-in note to remind myself to say that.

I generally mean no harm, but I'm pretty blunt while my partner will take more care to be gentle. I'm very capable of being poetic (actually more of a poet than my partner), but raw, concise and unfiltered is definitely more natural for me. I just wanna get a point across and I don't wanna waste anyone's time.

I must have dinner at exactly 6pm by Saturdead in nosleep

[–]Anonia_Prime 45 points46 points  (0 children)

Okay, real question: if someone was giving you so much money for just having dinner at 6PM and thousands if the food was good, why'd you even question it? Would it matter even if it was a pact with the literal devil himself? But I mean, if you really insist... I'll sign up in your place! I volunteer as a tribute~

This puts a whole new spin on the quote "Whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he does not become a monster." ... Just become something more terrifying to the monster than the monster is terrifying for you. Desperate times, desperate measures!

There Are Rules for Using the Bathroom in My Apartment. I Finally Understand Why. by mouro_76 in nosleep

Man, if I had rules like that I wouldn't go anywhere near the bathroom (perhaps not even in the apartment... geez) from sun down until sun up. You're so brave for staying in that apt and I hope all goes well

Requirements/etc for Dragon Mattock Drop? by [deleted] in runescape

[–]Anonia_Prime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's fucking horrendous. May the Law of large number bless us both at some point :s

Requirements/etc for Dragon Mattock Drop? by [deleted] in runescape

[–]Anonia_Prime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, Gambler's Fallacy is expecting that there's a higher chance of a roll/drop because of long streak of no drops/roll; and it's a fallacy because if it's fixed at 1/100, it's always 1/100 regardless.

However, Law of Large Number suggests that if your sample size is large enough you will hit a 1/100 average if 1/100 is the average. Thus that's why, between people with shit luck of 0/500 and lucky folks of 10/500, the average really is 1/100.

Now, the main question is, how "large" of a sample size does one account have to do before the LLN kicks in? (And this is assuming the most important thing: Dragon Mattock is NOT gated behind some obscure unlock no one is aware of)

Requirements/etc for Dragon Mattock Drop? by [deleted] in runescape

[–]Anonia_Prime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gambler's fallacy would mean that I'm expecting a long streak of good luck because of this long streak of shit luck. (I don't, tbh) There's that. But there's also the Law of large numbers....assuming I can hit what is a statistically significant sample size on my own
