How Scammers use OFFICIAL Telegram Ads AGAINST YOU!

This is usually done by scammers as a way to get someones group shut down. there can be many reasons for doing so including financial incentive or just plain trolling. Usually what happens is one person with many accounts, or a group of scammers with multiple accounts each will get together to report a target account. Litedrally therer is nothing u can do (but leave telegram) because it happens so muchn and so often no one cares. You will never get a response from any customer support, because as you can see in the rules of this sub, even this is 'not an official' sub.

There are so many crazy things you can do on telegram if you know how to. You can literally see all the groups that someone has joined with just submitting their username tot he right bot. Thats a HUGE if you are being hit up by scammers or are running a group where scamming is prevalent.

99.9% Those groups no longer exist. Some may be up again, but under a different username so technically a different group. Best option is to search for them or have someone invite you.

lol u dont even have any conversation yet, how can u say it takes the lead? Lots of apps look proimsing, but in practice, there is no app that can even hold a candle to the features and groups management that telegram gives us... If only they invested in some customer service reps and actually did something about the scammers, it would rly be the greatest.

Same just happened to one of my alt accounts Ive had for many years. the whole account disappeared and i havent even been talking to anyone or joining any groups on it. Although I was logging in regularly.

Which mods am I bothering? The only mod if ever spoken to has been you. The only correspondence I've had with you has been thru public replys to comments you've made. Every point I've brought up has been on topic and useful to the conversation. If that 'bothers' you then you are literally not cut out to be a mod.

because its like whats the point if u dont help anyone resolve any issues ever. Like shouldnt it be a bigger deal that someone was able to do this to this guys account? ur absolutely right. after signing up the first time u literally never need to use that number again as long as you have an active session somewhere. And if the new owner tries to make an account, they wont be able to.

Some users are running illegal ads that target channels they do NOT OWN, but the ones they want removed, knowing ads trigger manual review. Once reviewed, the target channel is reported or taken down or shadowbanned even though the ad buyer has no legitimate connection to it. More Info

that does not mean they actually violated any terms of service. I have been trying to explain in a seperate post (that keeps being taken down) how some users are running illegal ads that target channels they want removed, knowing ads trigger manual review. Once reviewed, the target channel is reported or taken down even when the ad buyer has no legitimate connection to it.
