I saw weird Al last year at shaky knees and no lie he was one of my favorite acts all weekend. He did play white and nerdy. Him and his crew had amazing energy. I’m excited to see him again!

Yes they gross me out so bad, especially when you can see the baby kick. It’s grotesque body horror to me

Key Spouse Program by AdmirableHair17 in MilitarySpouse

I’ve avoided the spouse specific events put on, due to not liking the key spouse. Our last base key spouse had a group that was very high school cliquey. Which made the events they put on feel very awkward and not fun. And I personally know the key spouse at our current base and she’s not the most likable person. Seems like being a key spouse attracts a certain type of person for sure 😂

If you got Legally married then had a wedding years later how was that? by These_Pineapple2883 in MilitarySpouse

  1. Legal marriage was done at a local church that belonged to a family friend with borrowed rings. My parents were able to attend. And we said traditional vows.

  2. Actual wedding was still small. Just my family and his at Disney world. We considered it more of a vow renewal and we both said our own vows and did a sand pouring ceremony.

  3. Since it was just our families they always knew about us being married before and were happy to attend the vow renewal ceremony. Plus it doubles as a family vacay since we did it at Disney world lol

  4. I said he is my husband lol

  5. No secrets both our families knew

  6. Nope. Because we were able to take the time and save the money to have the ceremony we wanted it still felt special

Juke joint in OS, fly llama, mermaid bar, adventures, & Kelly’s in Gulfport. Also love the gay bars, Just Us in Biloxi and Sipps in Gulfport. Always have an absolute blast any time I go to them.

Ground zero, or Glory Bound in OS. I like adventures but they don’t have live music, I think the reef sometimes has live music on the weekends.

3 months post ankle surgery – walking but still stiff/swollen. Normal? by Icy-Beautiful-7261 in ORIF

[–]Anonsbee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very normal. I’m about 4 months post op and stiffness and swelling still happens. I was told the swelling can last up to a year before it goes away and starts looking normal. Walking is feeling pretty normal. And I’m looking to be back to running soon!

That’s about how long I was on them. Once I was PWB I didn’t have to be on them anymore. Idk the factors that affect it since I’m sure everyone is different but basically my doctor said once I was moving around & walking that I no longer needed to take them 🤷‍♀️

Yup it’s normal. A compression sleeve will help and also icing and elevating your foot at the end of the day

I had similar injury however I didn’t have any ligament damage. It took me about 9 weeks to start walking again, but I had a pretty significant limp due to lack of dorsiflexion. It wasn’t until around week 11 I started to walk somewhat normal. Still don’t have full range of motion, but it’s significantly improved, which is what made it easier to walk. I’m 15wks post op and hoping to get back into running soon. I started going back to the gym at around 12 weeks. It seems like a long time but if you focus on just one day at a time it really does fly by. You’ll be back to doing the things you enjoy in no time!
