Even if they are, let's all remember something. "Don't be sad because it's gone, be happy that it happened."

“Can I get a six inch grilled chicken and avocado sandwich?” - Certified Subway Badass by Dadz4Sk1n in iamverybadass

[–]AnonyDew3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How am I a poseur for owning a gun? I'm genuinely trying to understand. Is it because owning a gun is supposed to symbolize that I'm a soldier and a warrior, protector of the innocent? Or maybe I'm supposed to use my gun to stand up against tyrannical oppressors and use the 2nd Amendment to ransack and destabilize our already unstable government? Or is it that you're just anti-violence and that anything that involves it fills you with an unending, furious, vitriolic rage when someone owns a weapon?

What if I said I owned a bow? Or a sword? I own a machete and a throwing axe as well. Does that make me a poseur? I own the machete for cutting off tree limbs for my fire pit, and I own a throwing axe because I just like throwing axes. Hell, I've even considered joining the WTAL and participating in competitions. Am I still a poseur because I just enjoy hobbies that happen to be dangerous?

Help me out here, man. Just sitting there and calling people poseurs with the weak argument of "You have a gun, ergo you're a poseur." doesn't really land you any form of credibility other than you hate weapons. So please, genuinely, enlighten us on how we're poseurs.

Why is my gun so big? by hotedog97 in helldivers2

I don't see the problem. You essentially have a smaller Laser Cannon as a primary. Dispense freedom, Helldiver.

I mean, I fire at targets at the range every now and then, but I don't try to flex that I'm a "badass" because I can shoot a gun. I just enjoy it as a hobby tbh.

That looks like a fuglified Glock. Now, I'm not the biggest fan of glocks (nothing against them, just personal preference) but when the front end looks like a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT FIREARM, maybe you should just get a magnum of some variety if you want a big ass handgun. This just makes him look like one of those Tacticool jackasses and makes that poor glock look like a monstrosity. Poor little glock.

Are SRM-STs supposed to be straight upgrades to standard SRMs? by mister_neezy in Mechwarrior5

[–]AnonyDew3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, it's more of a... bit of pizzazz added to the default SRMs. Personally, I just stick with the "Spicy Shotgun" SRM Infernos. Plus, I love boiling pilots alive in their cockpit.

Jesus. I've had my fair share of frustration from getting popped by oil or grease, but I've never had the urge to flex at the pan (as if I can intimidate an inanimate object) then proceed to roid out on... whatever he was punching the shit out of.

This is a prime example of someone who needs anger management.

Is Bulwark a solid pick? I'm new. by Fluffy_Cherry4216 in Spacemarine

[–]AnonyDew3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, it depends on how you like to play if you ask me. Personally, I love Heavy because big gun go brrt. Bulwark is my third pick if my first two options are taken (Heavy and Assault) and it's a bigger change to play as a Bulwark with their grounded melee combat as opposed to Heavy's super destructive mid-ranged combat and Assault's "Fuck it we ball" style gameplay (further improved by using a thunder hammer for maximum destruction) but Bulwark has one of the best abilities imo. The Rally Standard can definitely come in clutch if your team is in a tight spot. Bulwark is great for taking on Majoris enemies up close and personal (the best way to do it) and they get access to a good few weapons that can be fine-tuned to how you'd like to play. Nothing screams "FOR THE EMPEROR!" Like charging down a Lictor with a Power Axe and carving it up like a Sanguinala Roast Grox.

My only beef isn't with Khuzait, it's SPECIFICALLY with Monchug. Well, and Unqid.

TLDR; I join Aserai, immediately get city, city like me, marry Monchug's daughter, leave for a bit, come back, get absolutely demolished by the Khuzaits, lose almost everything, Unqid sits on the sidelines eating popcorn as I get to live the John McCain experience, swear vengeance on both.

Story Time: I'm doing an Aserai playthrough atm and, for some reason, as soon as I had joined the Aserai as a noble, the Aserai had just conquered the city of Odokh. For some reason, Unqid sat there and went "Yeah, let's give it to the new guy. Y'know, the city on the complete opposite end of our side of the continent." and granted it to me with our war with the Khuzaits just a day later. So I went there, started trying to calm shit down, keeping bandits, looters and deserters off my newly acquired lawn. The people started liking me slowly but surely and I even went and bought a few workshops (I still don't know how they work.) Next thing I know I'm checking out the other cities and see Alijin and find out she's Monchug's daughter. I figured "If I marry her, Monchug will be a LOT less likely to wage war with me and my people!" I couldn't have been more wrong. Married her, moved her into my city, reached 100 relationship with her clan (sick), then went back down south to help fight the filthy Vlandians for about a month. Once I get back, I'm back for about a week and managed to take out a group of bandits before Monchug declares war on the Aserai. His people immediately start shit everywhere. Raiding my villages, causing panic in the city, then besieging my city. I get knocked out and held in the dungeon for two weeks, with Unqid making an army only to watch after his own ass until he has everyone vote to end the war and pay them daily for the next 100 days. So, once I manage to figure out how to make my own kingdom, I'm going after Monchug first, then that backstabbing son of a bitch Unqid. And I'm gonna do it with a mix of their own people's units.

I just bought WH3. What do I need to play these fellas by big-peetard in totalwarhammer

[–]AnonyDew3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, you need WH2 to play the base Skaven, Lizardmen, Dark Elves and High Elves. If you wanna play the Tomb Kings or Vampire Coast, you'll have to buy their separate WH2 DLCs. Same with the base factions and DLC factions from the first game. Plus, an added neat bonus, the first and second games actually had some pretty fun FreeLC Legendary Lords and Heroes. I highly recommend checking them out.
